As part of BT Sport’s broadcast agreement with the National League, 25 live games will be broadcast next season, in addition to a new 30-minute highlights show to be aired on Sunday nights and repeated through-out the week.
I offered the opportunity to train with BT Sport, in areas including operating equipment, filming techniques, conducting interviews, editing footage and delivering content to the broadcaster. They will then go on to produce highlights of all Dover Athletic’s home games.

This is a fantastic and unique opportunity for me to receive training and real-world experience.

One of my juniors needed a pen to sign his welcome offer.

He didn't have a pen.

So I gave him a blue pen.

What he didn't know is the blue pen actually has green ink inside.

And who uses green ink? The CEO.

He didn't know that and when he signed the offer letter, he actually thanked me instead of getting mad.

Because he understood I taught him 2 valuable lessons:

1. Always aspire to be big like the CEO even if you're a junior.

2. Never trust your colleagues, always test your pen.

Turns out, the HR knew about it and he was fired next day.

We still meet from time to time and he still remembers the lesson I taught him.

This is how juniors should be.

I thought I would post it yesterday but I realized my message won't stand out because of tons of women's day brand promotions.

So I scheduled it today.

Happy Women's day.

Because a woman matters on everyday not just on March 8.

The way this man told his story changed my life.

Yesterday, I went to my usual samosa place in my native and asked the uncle for 2 samosas.

"Uncle, epdi irukinga? (how are you)"

"I am fine thambi (brother), how are you?"

"I am good. How is life?"

"Life is good thambi. My son passed his CMA exam (Certified Management Accountant) finally. He is now a CMA making ₹50,000 per month."

"That's great uncle. Romba Sandhosham (Happy for you). So are you planning to stop selling Samosas?"

"How can I do that thambi? I have repeated customers who love my samosas and I love doing this. I don't do it for the money. I do it for the love of making samosas."

That taught me a lesson. 

Not every samosas has to be monetary. Not every samosas has to bring B2B leads. Not every samosa seller sells samosas to have a motivational story behind.

Some people just do it for the love of making samosas.

Find your samosa story and make that your lifetime job.

Even if that takes your entire lifetime to find that.

You will be happy that you will be able to live your life to your fullest one day.

In 7 days, I turn 25.

I want to share with you what I read so far and how it changed me:

👉 Day 7: Dating.

When you start to date someone, you will see what you want to see and will assume everything will be fine in the long run.

One common assumption is, "My love will change this person."

However this is the biggest myth.

The person won't change because of your love, they will change only if they want to change. 

Without knowing this, you will live in an assumption that this person will change.

Suddenly, you realise this person won't change. Now you saw what you didn't want to see before.

This realisation will become an emotional pain.

I understand, it is hard and near impossible to love someone without any expectation, but keep your expectation real and practical.

Real love is accepting the person as who they are, not as who you want them to be.

If we try to change them, it means we don't really like them.

If you love me the way I am - Okay take me.

If you don't love me the way I am - Okay bye bye.

That's how easy loving someone is.

The day we stop making assumptions is the day when we truly start loving someone.
