Responsible for leading Saleforce's Asia and India go-to-market strategy to continue rapid growth and expansion in the region. As part of this role, I managed a team of campaign and communications managers and collaborated with APAC marketing functional leads and Asia/India business owners to drive lead generation, increase brand awareness and enhance the customer experience. As a member of the Asia Management team and APAC Marketing Leadership team, I have had the opportunity to impact our marketing strategy for the region. Key achievements include reaching 154% of our contributed pipeline target and increasing PR coverage by 150%. I have also been a key member in driving a range of initiatives including the inaugural winning submission for the 'Great Place to Work Singapore' award, Asia Pipeline Councils and leading Salesforce's diversity program in Asia.

Director, Asia and India Field Marketing

RSA The Security Division of EMC

Responsible for the marketing strategy of RSA’s full range of data security and risk management solutions in South East Asia, and cross functional engagement with the broader EMC and RSA South East Asia businesses. Developed marketing strategies, implementation plans and campaigns for the region to drive pipeline and raise awareness. Project owner for the analysis and recommendations to RSA’s Asia Pacific and Japan channel business, to help strengthen RSA’s overall go to market strategy, in alignment with the global direction. Key outcomes include over-achievement of the pipeline targets for five consecutive quarters, delivery of signature events and sponsorship programs. Winner of 5 x Excellence at EMC awards (3 gold & 2 silver) awarded by sales and management in the categories of innovation, success and passion.

Senior Marketing Manager, South East Asia

Hewlett-Packard

Responsible for collaborting with key alliance partners to determine joint business and marketing strategic priorities and go to market plans. Collaborate with worldwide, country marketing, business unit lead and product management teams to determine virtualization go-to-market strategies that are relevant to the Asia, Pacific and Japan markets, and support overall business plans. Go to market plans include direct, channel and alliance routes to market, with specific plans developed for VMware, Microsoft and Citrix. Key achievements include development of inaugural joint  marketing plans, robust strategic planning processes and development of global marketing automated virtualization initiative.

APJ Marketing Manager – Virtualization: Alliances and HP Cross BU Solutions

Strategic development and execution of awareness and demand generation marketing programs for various divisions within EMC. Programs aligned to the business and deliver on a strong, measurable, return on investment. Developed awareness and demand generation campaigns to build a pipeline of qualified leads and strengthen the EMC brand. Managed annual EMC Forum events for ANZ, drove closer alignment between marketing programs and sales priorities, and managed external agencies. Outcomes include returning a $5m pipeline to the EMC Inform program exceeding targets YOY, launching the VCE Coalition in the Australian market, and establishing a highly targeted CIO program.

ANZ Marketing Manager - Backup & Recovery Solutions; VCE (EMC, VMware, Cisco); EMC

Established relationships and developed co-marketing plans with key technology alliances to EMC which were mutually beneficial to both businesses. Executed demand generation and awareness programs including trade shows, digital online marketing, internal communications, public relations and EMC-led events. Managed internal communication programs within EMC and the alliances business. Key achievements include the successful execution of the first integrated marketing plans for EMC/VMWare, EMC/RSA and EMC/Microsoft, generating an excess of $1m in pipeline through campaigns and delivered the most successful Microsoft Tech Ed sponsorship resulting in $3m pipeline.

Alliance Marketing and Event Marketing Manager

Managed the execution of all events sponsored or delivered by EMC. Supported the marketing team with budget, merchandise and program logistics. Outcomes include exceeding pipeline targets and sponsorship revenue for EMC Infor.

Marketing Executive, ANZ

The Forum Group

Delivered events that exceed the objectives of clients - from briefing to execution and debrief. Marketed ‘The Forum Group’ services to acquire new clients. Key achievements include event coordination of Microsoft Tech Ed and mnagement of Australian Intel Core 2 Duo launch to resellers, as well as EMC Inform sponsorship sales targets by 20%.

I’m passionate about leadership and enabling my team to be the best marketers and human beings possible. My success is defined through their achievement and growth, as well as our business targets.

'Women supporting Women' is incredibly powerful and important. I'm a small part of progress through co-leading Mentor Walks Singapore, being an Executive Sponsor of Veeam's 'Women in Green' program, and being an active mentor in our 'Mentor Labs' program - plus advocating and elevating women as often as I can.

I’ve found that investing in developing a strong business acumen and interlocking with sales and business stakeholders is key to success. We live in a data drenched world, and need to leverage that data to enable insights and informed decision making. This helps demonstrate the true business value of marketing. 

I live a very blessed life, so I’m proud to have initiated the ANZ Veeam CSR program, and now actively support local charities through our 'Veeam Cares' program in Singapore.

When not with my Veeamazing team, I’m spending time with my friends and large, loud family or trying to keep fit and active.
