As Chef Planet I guide organizations from a bird's eye view in the process towards a future-proof and regenerative organization that makes a positive environmental, economic and social impact.

With in-depth knowledge, available tools and practical experience, I guide organizations to make sustainability an integral part of their strategy, culture and processes. The foundation of my work is based on systems thinking, nudging theory and sustainable business models.

Every organization is different and it always involves customization. On the route to sustainable business operations, we formulate green ambitions, make a quick scan of your current impact, draw up an action plan, monitor your impact and scale up those solutions that really make the difference.

East Coast Car Rentals is one of the largest independent car hire providers in Australia and my responsibilities included contract management, drafting damage reports and driving the Courtesy Coach bus. 
➥ Farm Hand @ The Van den Berg Group - Katamatite (02/2017 - 03/2017) 
The Van den Berg Group, operated by relatives of mine, is a farm with approximately 1200 dairy cows and several hectares of crops. I was responsible for day-to-day operations. 
➥ Sales Representative @ Hello Fresh - Sydney (11/2016 - 12/2016)
Hello Fresh is a weekly meal delivery service and I was responsible for door-to-door acquisition of new customers.

I was responsible for acquiring construction companies, managing customer relationships and recruiting personnel.

The Onesieclub offered qualitatively excellent onesies, easily to order through a orderly webshop. Our goal was to get the whole country in to these suits. Why? Because onesies are awesome. We partly succeeded and finalised our business due to next endeavours and long term travelling.

Ik ben Marijke en ik ben merk-, impact- én communicatiestrateeg voor duurzame en maatschappelijke organisaties. 

Ja, je leest het goed: ik verbind drie essentiële vakgebieden met elkaar om de transitie naar de Nieuwe Economie te versnellen. Ik ben sinds 2018 freelancer voor duurzame en maatschappelijke organisaties en woon sinds de zomer van 2023 in mijn camper genaamd 'Sky'. 

Noem mij gerust een tikkeltje ambitieus en idealistisch! Maar hé, dankzij deze eigenschappen heb ik mooi mijn weg gevonden en kan ik nu op mijn eigen manier succesvol impact maken. Mijn missie is om anderen meer bewust te laten denken, leven en werken. Het draait om verbinding met jezelf, de natuur en de ander. 

Ik geloof in een wereld waarin de Nieuwe Economie de norm is. Waarin het welzijn van mens, dier en natuur centraal staan. Waarin profit én purpose hand-in-hand gaan. Waarin bedrijven waarde toevoegen in plaats van nemen en waarin ons consumeren bijdraagt aan deze transitie naar een betere wereld.

Er loopt één groene draad door mijn werk: ik leg het hart terug in organisaties. Middels enthousiaste gedrevenheid, een nieuw verhaal en een kraakheldere strategie realiseer ik de nieuwe realiteit van een duurzaam merk met positieve impact en een positieve reputatie.
