As Chef Planet I guide organizations from a bird's eye view in the process towards a future-proof and regenerative organization that makes a positive environmental, economic and social impact.

With in-depth knowledge, available tools and practical experience, I guide organizations to make sustainability an integral part of their strategy, culture and processes. The foundation of my work is based on systems thinking, nudging theory and sustainable business models.

Every organization is different and it always involves customization. On the route to sustainable business operations, we formulate green ambitions, make a quick scan of your current impact, draw up an action plan, monitor your impact and scale up those solutions that really make the difference.

East Coast Car Rentals is one of the largest independent car hire providers in Australia and my responsibilities included contract management, drafting damage reports and driving the Courtesy Coach bus.

The Van den Berg Group, operated by relatives of mine, is a farm with approximately 1200 dairy cows and several hectares of crops. I was responsible for day-to-day operations.

Hello Fresh is a weekly meal delivery service and I was responsible for door-to-door acquisition of new customers.

Samen met een groep van 25 gedreven professionals leer ik in een trainingsprogramma van 5 maanden alles over sociaal ondernemen. Van ondernemend leiderschap, duurzame innovatie, community building tot sociale impact maken en meten. In teams gaan wij de uitdaging aan om deze kennis meteen in de praktijk te brengen door het concept, businessmodel of het bereik van een sociale of duurzame start-up in Amsterdam te veranderen of vergroten.

Als video-editor was ik constant bezig met het beste verhaal te creeëren. Met mijn creativiteit wist ik het meeste te halen uit welk materiaal dan ook, van strak geregisseerd tot ingezonden door amateurs. Een beeld zegt meer dan 1000 woorden en ik weet net dat beeld te vinden dat de boodschap niet alleen recht doet, maar ook nog eens naar een hoger plan tilt. Door me te verdiepen in de vraag van de klant, kon ik een slag erboven op maken, zodat hun verwachtingen keer op keer werden overtroffen.
Omdat ik de trends en ontwikkelingen in de gaten hield, kon ik nieuwe concepten bedenken en ondersteunen.
Ik had veel eigen verantwoordelijkheid en benaderde mijn werk proactief en zelfstandig. 
Editing is naast een creatief beroep ook een zeer technisch beroep. Ik maakte gebruik van verschillende software uit de Adobe suite en wist problemen op het gebied van video en cloud based software op te lossen.

Als toergids leidde ik groepen fiets rond door Amsterdam. Naast dat ik de mensen mooie verhalen kon vertellen over interessante plekken in de stad, was ik ook verantwoordelijk voor hun veiligheid en zorgde ik dat niemand kwijtraakte. Ik deed dit in zowel Nederlands als Engels.

Klaar met de wegwerpmaatschappij en klaar om de strijd aan de gaan. Ik zet mij dagelijks in om mensen te inspireren om kleine en grote duurzame stappen te zetten. Zelf heb ik ook nog genoeg stappen te zetten, maar elke stap is er eentje. Loop je mee?
