As Chef Planet I guide organizations from a bird's eye view in the process towards a future-proof and regenerative organization that makes a positive environmental, economic and social impact.

With in-depth knowledge, available tools and practical experience, I guide organizations to make sustainability an integral part of their strategy, culture and processes. The foundation of my work is based on systems thinking, nudging theory and sustainable business models.

Every organization is different and it always involves customization. On the route to sustainable business operations, we formulate green ambitions, make a quick scan of your current impact, draw up an action plan, monitor your impact and scale up those solutions that really make the difference.

East Coast Car Rentals is one of the largest independent car hire providers in Australia and my responsibilities included contract management, drafting damage reports and driving the Courtesy Coach bus. 
➥ Farm Hand @ The Van den Berg Group - Katamatite (02/2017 - 03/2017) 
The Van den Berg Group, operated by relatives of mine, is a farm with approximately 1200 dairy cows and several hectares of crops. I was responsible for day-to-day operations.

Hello Fresh is a weekly meal delivery service and I was responsible for door-to-door acquisition of new customers.

Fairtrade's approach enables farmers and workers to have more control over their lives and decide how to invest in their future. During my internship at Fairtrade I mostly worked on the topic of sustainable public procurement of hot beverages (coffee, tea, cocoa) and the role of human rights due dilligence (HRDD) in this.

Climate-KIC

EIT Climate-KIC is a European knowledge and innovation community, working to accelerate the transition to a zero-carbon economy. The master label program is meant for top talents in climate innovation. The program entails attending spark lectures, following complementary courses in climate sciences or entrepreneurship,  a mobility program and participation in a four week summer school in 3 European countries.

KPMG Nederland

At the Sustainability department of KPMG, together with four other students, we researched the applicability of the Planetary Boundary framework to set Science-based targets (SBTs) for companies beyond the currently used Carbon SBTs. This research included interviewing sustainability executives of several multinational organisations regarding their view on the applicability of this framework in setting future goals.

Het leven naar buiten brengen. Groen, Gezondheid en Geluk. Daar sta en ga ik voor.  

Zelf ben ik het liefst buiten in beweging. Bewegen in de natuur geeft me energie én rust en brengt me in verbinding met mezelf. 

In mijn werk combineer ik het liefste 3 dingen: verbinding, beweging en natuur. Dit doe ik op verschillende manieren:
- als facilitator van Persoonlijk Leiderschap's programma van Gump
- als coach bij Leiderschapsexpedities van BOLD Wilderness Expeditions
- als gids bij Vegan Food Tour Utrecht
- als gids bij The Norway Trail - Travelbase 

Verder houd ik van avontuur en uitdaging. Zo maakte ik eerder een 35 daagse zeiltocht op een tallship de Atlantische Oceaan over, fietste ik solo 1600 km naar de Middellandse zee en een trektocht in de bergen is mijn favoriete vorm van vakantie. 

Samen het leven naar buiten brengen? Ik ben benieuwd waar jij van opleeft.
