I’d already been working in the hospitality industry for…well my whole life. But I’d previously run a cleaning business for 11 years before I sold it in 2017.

In the summer of 1972 my late Mother warned me that the Christmas tree would be a little stark compared to previous years, I still remember the smell of the freshly cut tree. For years my parents then endured my  cross-examing of them about how their business was doing and what created stellar performance. Questions are the answers and that’s when the business performance questions started to flow.

Roll onto 1976, aged 10, my Dad said I'd start getting pocket money, the trick though was I had to earn it. When I mowed his big garden, he paid me handsomely. Soon I was mowing the neighbours and more lawns in our road. Dad started to take me to the garage to buy fuel to mow other people's lawns, then he started to charge a hire fee for his mower. Four months later, my mate down the road became my first competitor. Aged 11, I was dealing with input costs, gross margin, time management, customer service, sales, cash flow and competition.

My life-long curiosity in business performance was ignited and I chose to study accountancy and economics, hospitality, and business law while at university. On the back of almost 3 decades of business experiences, starting, scaling, exiting, business consulting and business coaching across multiple countries, industries and sectors I developed an initimate understanding of how to scale out a business whilst mitigating against risk.

Now my personal mission is to be the source of inspiration to SME owners aspiring to be successful and bring them the very best business intelligence tools & knowledge to achieve their goals. My clients find my systems easy to implement and enjoy the experience.
