I co-founded Zero Procure back in 2020 because I knew procurement could be done differently.

I’d already been working in the hospitality industry for…well my whole life. But I’d previously run a cleaning business for 11 years before I sold it in 2017.

And there’s something I noticed about procurement:

- You either did it yourself…taking time away from your core job
- You could hire someone to do it…but they only have so much buying power
- You could hire a procurement company…that will charge you a percentage of your savings
- Or you could go with option 4…paying just the supplier for your goods, but also getting the best prices

Here’s our cue to come in.

Zero Procure works the exact same as any other procurement company…but you, the customer, don’t pay a thing!

Honestly, it’s as simple as that (we get our cuts from the supplier, not you).

I am privileged to have appeared on the Netflix Documentary “Sunderland til I Die” supporting Wales international footballer Jonny Williams, spoken on BBC Radio 5 Live, The High Performance Podcast with Jake Humphrey (200 million downloads) & Talk Sport Radio show with Hawksby & Jacobs to several million listeners discussing many topics around “people development”, my journey & how we create elite teams in the work place. I work extensively across business & elite sport including the England U15 National Squad & previously at AFC Wimbledon, Cardiff City & Northampton & Notts County as assistant to the manager 

I lead world class programmes on the Scottish & Irish FA Uefa Pro Licence, along with being the published author of “Educating Football”. It has received international press & media coverage along with global recognition. It is a book for teachers, coaches, parents & athletes, around mindset, teaching, learning & self-awareness.

I have been offered a PhD in sport psychology & am awaiting sponsorship. As Academy Management for 4 years of a Championship Football Club, I am now founder of www.solutionsmindset.com. This entails work in the professional football, education & business industry & being involved ensuring people across my remit fulfill their personal & professional objectives. This includes High Performance support for Elite Athletes, Business Leaders, Headteachers, CEO’s Families & Children. 

Education & sport is my life passion. I am a former footballer at Brighton & Hove Albion FC, which ended & led to an education career. I was short-listed for the National Teacher of the Year Award in 2008 & a Vice-Principal for nine years with responsibility for whole school Teaching & Learning which involved coaching colleagues & adding value to teaching pedagogy across various faculties. In addition to this, a senior lecturer of Physical Education at UEL for 3 years.

I qualified as an Advanced Skills Teacher in 2006 & specialised in physical education & “behaviour for learning” strategies. This ensured assessment for learning was a key driver to personal growth & institutional change & I helped support the government in an advisory role during this process.

I completed my MA in Leadership & Educational Psychology from Kings College London in 2013 & am currently studying a sponsored MBA with the Uni of Gloucester.

August 2018 I met Dean Austin who played 260 games for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and Crystal Palace Football Club respectively. 

Now a successful head of Recuitment at Coventry City Football Club 

Dean had never heard of me. ❌ 

✅ But I was recommended to him to assist him in his role as an EFL manager. 

☎️ He called me on a Sunday. We chatted for over an hour. 

🕰️ Within 24 hours I was in at the training ground helping him.
