JED is a nonprofit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for our nation’s teens and young adults. We’re partnering with high schools and colleges to strengthen their mental health, substance abuse and suicide prevention programs and systems. We’re equipping teens and young adults with the skills and knowledge to help themselves and each other. We’re encouraging community awareness, understanding and action for young adult mental health.

I am dedicated to fostering the well-being and personal development of students, teachers, and school communities by advocating for evidence-based Daily Mindfulness practices (MBSR) to be integrated into every school curriculum, promoting mental health, emotional intelligence, and cognitive abilities in youth.

I actively advocate for the integration of mindfulness practices into educational curricula, believing that cultivating mindfulness can enhance students' cognitive abilities, emotional intelligence, and resilience. I participate in advocacy campaigns, collaborate with educators and policymakers, and engage in community outreach.

Policy Initiatives:
I contribute to the development and implementation of policies that support the integration of mindfulness practices in schools and universities. By collaborating with policymakers, educational institutions, and mindfulness organizations, I work to establish guidelines, allocate resources, and create frameworks for incorporating mindfulness into the educational system effectively.

Educational Workshops and Training:
I facilitate workshops and training sessions for teachers, administrators, and students to equip them with practical mindfulness techniques and strategies. These sessions focus on stress reduction, emotional regulation, attention improvement, and overall well-being, empowering participants to incorporate mindfulness into their daily lives and educational practices.

Research and Evaluation:
I support research initiatives aimed at examining the impact of mindfulness programs on academic performance, mental health, and school climate. By collecting data, conducting evaluations, and disseminating findings, I contribute to the evidence base for mindfulness in education and advocate for its widespread adoption based on empirical evidence.

I collaborate with mindfulness organizations, educational institutions, community leaders, and government agencies to form partnerships that advance the integration of mindfulness in education. By fostering collaboration and sharing resources, we collectively work towards creating supportive environments where mindfulness becomes an integral part of the educational experience.
