JED is a nonprofit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for our nation’s teens and young adults. We’re partnering with high schools and colleges to strengthen their mental health, substance abuse and suicide prevention programs and systems. We’re equipping teens and young adults with the skills and knowledge to help themselves and each other. We’re encouraging community awareness, understanding and action for young adult mental health.

I am an accomplished Marketing and Media Industry executive with a passion for innovation, creating social good impact while driving business values. I have vast experience in global media, digital, social media, content, influencer marketing, sponsorship/event marketing and business partnership development.
During my 21 year career at American Express as Vice President, I led American Express in its development of innovative digital initiatives, business alliances with key media partners including advancing American Express' digital brand strategy, and deep partnerships in the social media space including Facebook, Twitter and Google.
In my role as VP CSR, I developed strategies to provide linkages between philanthropy and American Express brand/business marketing and social good commerce. 

Over the years, I held multiple Board positions within the Advertising and Media Industry and in the Social Good space. I remain an honorary board member of the Ad Council. I also received numerous Industry awards for leadership, mentorship, innovation, creativity and business results. I was recently named a fellow of the Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards.

I moved to the nonprofit world in 2016 and I am now excited to join the Child Mind Institute team and contribute to transforming lives of children struggling with mental health issues. This is well connected to my prior work with the Poses Family Foundation and Understood.Org to lead development of new Corporate Partnerships and Alliances to help more parents and educators and positively impact the millions of children with learning disabilities. I also assisted the Poses Family Foundation with other nonprofit organizations that they assisted to help them develop productive, win-win Corporate Partnerships. 
I recently was also appointed to the NYC Founders Council of Cradles to Crayons.

Nancy embarked on a new learning journey to help develop activation plans for the brand to deepen the American Express social responsibility footprint globally.This position provided great insight about the challenges and opportunities within CSR to drive the brand and business while impacting more positive change in the world.

Nancy was responsible for advancing American Express' digital brand strategy, presence and evolution in the social media and content space. She led development of innovative digital initiatives and business alliances with key social media partners. This included leadership of enterprise higher purpose cause marketing campaigns and development of ecommerce in the social media space.

Over this time frame, Nancy led global media advertising and directed integrated content and digital strategy for the American Express Brand. During this period, she transformed American Express' media, sponsorship and event marketing into an integrated, global department and led a number of the company's major agency relationships . Under her leadership, she also spearheaded the company's first experiential marketing programs which established the model for corporate sponsorships today.In 2009, her scope included development of social media marketing for the Brand.
