When I was a little girl, I loved writing short stories.

I had such a vivid imagination, and I used writing stories, journaling to contain it all.

Fast forward to adult me and throw in responsibilities, no time and technology pulling me in every direction. I struggle to just be in the moment now.

And honestly? I miss that little girl who believed in everything she wrote.

The overactive brain is still here. So many ideas, so little space to let them breathe.

That's where AI has really helped me. 

Not as a replacement for creativity but as a way to brainstorm, organise, and finally get the ideas out of my head and onto the page.

And for people with ADHD, dyslexia, or neurodiverse minds? It's a bridge. A way to get what's in your head out into the world without the barriers getting in the way.

I'm getting back into pen to paper in the mornings. And when I'm busy, I voice note my thoughts and let AI help me shape them.

It hasn't taken my voice, it's helped me use it.

So before you judge someone for using AI in their writing, ask yourself:

Does it bring value?
Is it meaningful?
Is it relevant?

If the answers yes, does it really matter how they got there?

The little girl in me is still writing, she just has a new tool now. 👧 💖💙
