Hi, I’m John.

I help agencies & brands level up video and bridge the gap between ‘what’s cool’ and ‘what works’.

Through a 3-step process:

1. Thinking big.

The constant need to distribute content pushes you to post while neglecting to take a step back and think first how to cut through the noise in a world that has never been noisier.

The video production industry is full of ‘nice to have’ stuff.
We build lean teams of senior creative talent, and create assets in an efficient way.

No big creative egos, no lack of communication, no ‘me vs you’ scenarios. It’s ‘us vs the challenge’.


Throughout my career I’ve created for leading brands like Google, Nike, Vogue & Ralph Lauren.

I’ve also worked with major agencies including Flight Story, TBWA, McCann & Media Monks.

With my video team Storyflow we’ve created over our first year for 40+ companies with an excellent reputation.

Ich bin Komponist mit über 25 Jahren internationaler Erfahrung und Referenzen im Bereich 
der Vertonung von Film, TV und Medien. Ich vertone alles was laufende Bilder betrifft. 
Unabhängig meiner musikalischen Ausbildung und Laufbahn, sehe ich mich als Dramaturg, das ein essenzieller Teil meiner Arbeit ist. 

Es geht nicht darum, austauschbare Jingles und Hintergrundmusiken zu liefern, 
sondern eine passende Komposition zu erschaffen, die der Story und Stimmung folgt und dient. 
Auch werde ich als Berater und Musik-Editor gebucht.

Ich habe keinen bestimmten musikalischen Stil. Sorry, ich würde mich zu Tode langweilen!
Meine musikalische Bandbreite reicht von orchestralen, cineastischen bis hin zu elektronischen Kompositionen, je nachdem was "transportiert" werden muss.

So habe ich seit Ende der 90er schon hunderte Projekte realisiert, wovon einige international prämiert wurden. Diese Erfahrung kommt meinen Kunden zugute. Daher ist mein Credo:

I am a composer with over 25 years of international experience and references in the field
scoring to film, TV and media. I put music to motion pictures.
Regardless of my musical training and career, I see myself as a dramaturg, which is an essential part of my work.

It's not about providing interchangeable jingles and background music,
but to create a suitable composition that follows and serves the story and mood.
I am also booked as a consultant and music editor.

I don't have a specific musical style. Sorry, I would be bored to death!
My musical spectrum ranges from orchestral, cinematic to electronic compositions, depending on what needs to be "transported".

Since the end of the 90s, I have realized hundreds of projects, some of which have won international awards. This experience benefits my customers. Therefore my credo is: Music that works. For you.
