Worked as part of a team to delineate wetlands in high-risk public safety areas in the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests. In areas affected by Mountain Pine Beetle infestations we were charged with delineating wetlands in areas where hazardous tree removals were to take place. We used GPS receivers to record locations of high priority zones, managed this data through the use of ArcGIS software.

I Worked as a member of a team collecting data on the status of wild salmon fisheries in Southeast Alaska. My duties included: conducting adult fish counts, trapping juvenile salmon, measuring and recording characteristics of juvenile fishes, in-stream habitat surveys, stream substrate analysis, and coarse woody debris counts. Completion of duties required long hikes and many physical challenges. In charge of documenting progress on the Harris River Restoration project, a large in-stream bank stabilization project.

I help my clients get the most bang for their marketing bucks.
I started my career in politics and worked to bridge the private sector needs with public policy. In that experience, I saw the opportunity to make an impact in areas further than law and public policy -- like business, technology, and innovation.
At Oracle, I helped SMB and enterprise clients optimize their customer experience processes by identifying gaps in their current technology and pitching marketing, sales, and ERP solutions. At MuteSix, I bridged marketing and tech; I consulted with e-commerce companies to build out a strong and complete brand identity by partnering them with the right Shopify technology applications. Now at Okendo, I'm consulting with various types of eCommerce agencies on how to increase their clients' online sales through installing Okendo's ratings and reviews platform.

✨ Today marks my last day at Okendo after 4.5 incredible years!

When I first joined, we were the underdog, wowing brands and partners with our Reviews product. I still remember the reactions after demoing it for the first time… that “finally!” moment when people realized there was a real solution to a huge pain point in the market. Back then we were small but mighty, with one product (Reviews) and 3,500 clients.

Fast forward to today, 5 products and counting, and over 17,000 of the fastest-growing Shopify brands trust Okendo to power their customer marketing. I couldn’t be prouder!

This has been the best job I’ve ever had and such a beautiful chapter in my career. I’ve learned and grown so much here, and it’s been an honor to play a part in Okendo’s growth story. I believe so much in what we’re building and the incredible team behind it.

Huge thank you to Matthew Goodman and Matt Garven for believing in me from day one and for building such a visionary company and culture. I can’t wait to see what you accomplish next and will be cheering from the sidelines!

And the biggest thank you to Rachel Tyers, the best manager and mentor I could ask for.
