Business partnering as a concept is easy to understand, but quite challenging to implement in practice. The secret ingredients are people, culture and “soft skills” – areas that are often underestimated by Finance practitioners. 

The good news! Business partnering journeys require little financial investment, have significant payback (if done right), and is thereby a very attractive place to put your limited time and money. As a bonus, you also create jobs that are much more fun and rewarding for your finance team. 

I am passionate about creating a positive change in Finance and have therefore founded the Business Partnering Institute (BPI).
