At PNY, I lead an 8 person Business Development Unit with the mission of generating demand for PNY and NVIDIA GPU solutions. Additionally, I've lead teams ranging from HR, security, and sales while supporting legal and business strategy. My role supports multiple departments across shared services and sales driving new and existing business opportunities, hiring and developing talent, curating company wide training, and traveling the globe. My journey at PNY started as a Financial Analyst Intern. Today, my role supports the legal department, leads security, hosts 6 direct reports, manages 100+ accounts across the east coast, west coast, and all of Canada.

- Successfully drafted a memorandum discussing a client’s sales and use tax responsibilities under Michigan’s statutory definition of a service provider and exemption for non-profits.

- Represented clients in the Federal Tax Clinic on matters that included administrative appeals, collection matters and other tax cases. 
- Secured refunds for thousands of dollars and reductions in tax liabilities owed to the IRS by the taxpayer. 
- Negotiated a compromise for the Taxpayer's liability due to the client's financial hardship.

- Drafted client withdrawal letters for each the State the client had nexus with
- Calculated estimated liability and drafted letters to clients summarizing voluntary disclosure agreement correspondences with the respective States
- Researched Missouri 2016 legislative amendment addressing the definition of Durable Medical Equipment
- Performed nexus studies for clients to determine for which states, registration and filing was necessary
- Completed registration forms for clients that had exempt registration status in the State
