Creator of the Interior Design Department at Joybird, overseeing all facets of interior design, including furniture specifications, fixture and accessory selections, and color palette development.

Drive team success to meet interior design objectives in delivering over 10,000 projects by engaging and mentoring design professionals, providing creative and strategic direction, and facilitating implementation of project designs across all channels.
 
Defined the brand style and feel for Joybird Design House by managing and inspiring a team of designers to create custom furniture designs from concept to completion, completing employee onboarding, talent acquisition, and staff training efforts.

Maintain and cultivate a culture of innovation, and provide creative ideation and direction for all interior design projects to support business goals, including the expansion of product lines within existing markets and introduction of new products in emerging markets.
 
Reviewed KPIs of interior designers to determine best practices, identify areas of improvement, and develop strategies for continued growth and development.

Communicate with vendors to source the latest technology for the design services department, overseeing technology roadmap, including successful implementation and go-live support, for Marxent, Design Files, and Floor Planner.

Quality control of design deliverables, ensuring accuracy, developing procedures and standards, and analyzing metrics to drive continuous improvement in efficiency of process.

Consulted with domestic and international team members to identify their strengths, developing a skills matrix to leverage design strengths and service offerings to best match client needs.
 
Collaborated with the leadership team to optimize selling opportunities, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention by developing innovative design strategies, setting proper sales goals, and establishing and maintaining profitable working relationships with customers.

But these days, I’m leaning further into my passion for visual storytelling, the quiet poetry of flowers, the rhythm of beauty and wellness, and the art of human connection.

Whether I’m mentoring designers, crafting brand narratives, or arranging florals with a wild, joyful touch, I bring a blend of creative intuition and steady leadership to everything I do.
