I lead a small but nimble team responsible for engineering programs to support construction and operations and maintenance of Apple's global fleet of retail stores. Responsibilities include:
- Engineering (MEPFP) design and construction standards across multiple design vintages. 
- Oversight of engineering design execution, construction and system commissioning for all new and existing store construction projects.
- Equipment specification and procurement programs
- Technical lead for specialty systems and innovations (i.e. movable facades, custom air diffusers)
- Sustainability programs and strategies with a primary focus on fleet energy performance and scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions reduction
- Technical lead for PM plans and programs supporting our store preservation teams. 
- Manage fleet wide building management system

Senior engineer for SWA's commercial energy group. I oversaw six employees with varying levels of experience on a variety of projects. Projects included energy audits (Level 1, 2, 3) and retro-commissioning on a variety of commercial buildings throughout the east coast. These buildings include office buildings (30,000 to 1mil+ sq. ft.), retail centers, courts, education, hotels, multifamily (residential) and hospitality. 

In addition, I oversaw MEP design and implementation projects for all commercial and multifamily buildings. Projects included fuel/steam to gas conversions; central heating and domestic hot water plants; ventilation systems, etc.

I was a senior mechanical engineer responsible for project management on multiple MEP design projects as well as senior engineer for the companies energy services division. MEP projects included design of high rise commercial buildings, various restaurants, office fit outs, data centers and high end retail stores. Project locations were throughout the continental US with an emphasis on NY, NY. Energy Services work included  high performance design, energy audits and CHP feasibility studies and system design.

The day a contractor walked off-site taught me everything about leadership.


It was 18 years ago.

We were mid-construction.
Schedules were tight.

Yesterday I stepped into a huge group breathwork session. No business cards, no PowerPoints, no noise. Just people, breathing together.

Funny how quickly things change when we drop the “busy” act and actually show up:

	•	Bodies softened
	•	Minds quieted
	•	People who walked in carrying the weight of the world… started laughing, crying, releasing, living

We keep trying to think our way out of stress.
Push harder. Grind more. Hustle brighter.

But here’s a truth Zig Ziglar would’ve smiled at:

And Alan Watts would remind us:
