Tech companies scale fast but don't help their salesforce keep up. Here's how it shows up:

That’s what buying Salesforce feels like for a lot of tech companies.

You don’t just “turn it on” and magically get:
clean pipeline, perfect reports, automated handoffs.

You still have to assemble:

→ the lead process
→ the stages
→ the fields people actually use
→ the automations that don’t break everything
→ the reporting that leadership trusts

Most teams skip the recipe.

So they end up with Salesforce “working”…
the same way a meal kit works when you wing it.

Technically edible.
Not what you thought you bought.

If you’re at a Series B company, you’ve probably already tried:

• Enablement sessions
• Documentation
• Office hours
• “Please log your data” reminders

And yet…

→ Pipeline still looks unreliable.
→ Forecast reviews still turn into debates.
→ Reps still update Salesforce after the deal moves.

That’s not a discipline issue.
That’s friction.

Before you add more training... ask yourself:

• Does a rep need 10+ clicks to do a basic task?
• Are they entering fields that no one actually uses?
• Are they jumping between Salesforce, docs, proposal tools, and email just to move one deal forward?

If the answer is yes... Salesforce feels like tax, not leverage.

Annnnnd people avoid tax 😐

Here’s what most scaling tech teams miss:

People don’t adopt tools.
They adopt shortcuts.

If logging data:
• Slows them down
• Interrupts momentum
• Feels disconnected from closing deals

They will delay it, batch it, or skip it entirely... no matter how good the training is.

High-performing tech companies flip the equation.

They design Salesforce so that:

• The fastest path is the correct path
• The easiest action is the right one
• Updating the CRM happens as a byproduct of selling

Examples:

• Fewer required fields, but better ones
• Automation that updates stages, dates, and tasks
• 1 click actions instead of manual busywork

When the system does more of the work, reps stop resisting it.

And something interesting happens:

→ Data quality improves
→ Forecasts stabilize
→ Managers stop chasing updates
→ Sales actually trusts the system

So if Salesforce adoption is low, don’t start with training...

Start with this question:

“What is the least amount of effort required for a rep to move a deal forward?”

Then design everything around that.

Fix the system 1st and then adoption takes care of itself.

Companies: We just need 1 field created.

Tech companies don't realize that Salesforce is basically IKEA furniture. Here's what I mean... 👇 


The showroom demo looks amazing.

→ Perfect lighting.
→ Perfect setup.
→ Perfect “wow, this will fix everything.”

Then you buy it.

And it shows up in a box with 500 pieces.

And you don't have instructions.

That’s what happens when a tech company “buys Salesforce.”

The demo is the showroom.

But nobody talks about the IFs:

• If you know what should be automated (and what shouldn’t)
• If you know how your process actually works across Sales + CS
• If someone designs the system end-to-end (not ticket-by-ticket)
• If you have the right tools/skills to assemble it

Most teams don’t.

So you open Salesforce on Day 1 and see:

→ Tabs everywhere.
→ Menus everywhere.
→ Settings everywhere.

And everyone asks the same question:

“Where do we even start?”

Here’s the part that hurts...

Even with a Salesforce admin, you still might be stuck.

Because admins are usually builders.

Not architects.

They can assemble what you tell them to build.

But they’re not paid to design how the whole house should fit together.

So what happens?

You DIY it for 6–12 months.

→ You watch tutorials.
→ You read threads.
→ You copy/paste random automations.

And you end up with…

A dresser that stands.

But also 12 extra screws on the floor.

And a weird wobble you ignore because you’re tired.

The hidden cost isn’t Salesforce.

A VC-backed tech founder once told me:

“I envy guys like you… bootstrapped.”

At first, I didn’t get it.

He had a lot of money. A big team. A nice NYC office.

On paper, he was “winning.”

Then he said:

“You don't have people breathing down your neck”

That line stuck with me.

Because this is the real tradeoff most people don’t talk about.

Bootstrapped
You optimize for:
• Speed of decisions
• Customer proximity
• Cash efficiency
• Profit early

But you carry:
• Personal financial risk
• Slower headcount growth
• Less margin for error

Це роблять майже всі 🤷🏻‍♀️

🙅🏻‍♀️ Проблема в іншому — у тому, що в багатьох випадках ChatGPT почали використовувати не як інструмент, а як заміну власного мислення.

У LinkedIn це видно особливо чітко, тому що ця платформа ніколи не була про “хороші тексти”. Вона завжди була про спосіб мислення людини, який читається між рядками. Саме тому тексти, написані без внутрішньої позиції, зчитуються майже миттєво — незалежно від того, наскільки вони граматично правильні чи структуровані.

Пости, створені виключно через ChatGPT, зазвичай мають одну спільну рису: 

вони безпечні (або Vanilla LinkedIn content) 🍦

У них немає ризику, немає сумніву, немає конкретної точки зору, з якою можна посперечатись або погодитись. Формально все виглядає коректно, але після прочитання не залишається жодного відчуття, що на цей текст автор витратив хоча б 5 хв власного життя.

І справа тут не в алгоритмах. LinkedIn не “карає” за використання AI. Але платформа дуже швидко підсвічує контент, який не викликає реакції. А реакції немає там, де немає думки, за яку автор готовий відповідати.

Саме так люди й “спалюються” — не тому, що використовують ChatGPT, а тому, що дозволяють йому говорити замість себе. У результаті особистий бренд починає виглядати не професійно, а безлико 🫥

Як не палитись використовуючи чат GPT

Знаєте, як по людині зрозуміти, що сарафанка перестала їй приносити гроші? 😁 Дуже просто — вона починає писати пости на LinkedIn

У мене це виглядає максимально наочно. В один місяць мені можуть одночасно написати п’ятеро людей по рекомендаціях на загальний чек у $10k🤩

А в інший — не написати жоден 🤷🏻‍♀️

І саме в такі періоди я починаю з’являтися в LinkedIn частіше.

Не тому, що раптом прокинулась любов до написання контенту, або захотілось поділитись роздумами на тему особистого бренду. А тому, що сарафанне радіо — штука класна, але дуже нестабільна.

Сарафанка працює, поки:
– у людей актуальний запит
– вас хтось згадав
– у того, хто згадав, є настрій вас порекомендувати

І жоден з цих пунктів ВИ НЕ КОНТРОЛЮЄТЕ❗️

Але проблема розвитку особистого бренду, в тому, що він не працює, коли виглядає як рятівна соломинка, яка, хоч як ГЕНІАЛЬНО не генеруйте ви контент, результату за 3 дні НЕ ПРИНЕСЕ ❌

Особистий бренд — це не “вести блог”. І не “писати пости, коли терміново треба гроші”, або “сейлз команда не виконала KPI по лідам”

Це спосіб зробити так, щоб:
– про вас думали до того, як виник запит
– вас згадували без прив’язки до настрою
– ви не залежали від хвиль “є/немає сарафанки”

І так, це не про швидкий результат. Зате це про контроль. Бо в якийсь момент ви або будуєте присутність наперед, або знову приходите в LinkedIn тоді, коли вже пізно.

А у вас як? Ви тут системно — чи з’являєтесь тільки тоді, коли сарафанка дає збій?

У 2026 році найшвидший спосіб зростати в LinkedIn — це не пости, і не гайди за слово в коментарях 😁 

Це коментарі 💬 ✍ 

І це не красива фраза для залучення уваги, а теза, яку останнім часом прямо підтверджують і Forbes, і практичні експерименти людей, які реально тестують LinkedIn, а не переписують одне одного.

Якщо дуже коротко:
коментування в LinkedIn — це окремий формат контенту, а не “додаток” до постів і не щось другорядне для тих, хто «ще не дозрів до публікацій».

LinkedIn сам це показує.

Те, що платформа почала відображати impressions на коментарях — це не “ще одна метрика заради метрики”. Це прямий сигнал: коментарі мають охоплення, живуть у стрічках інших людей і реально дистрибутяться алгоритмом.

У тій самій статті Forbes прямо сказано: коментарі зараз можуть давати більше видимості, ніж пости, особливо якщо у вас ще немає великої аудиторії. 

І це логічно ☝ 

👉 Коментар потрапляє не лише автору посту, а й у стрічки його контактів, запускає дискусію і показує вас у контексті вже цікавої теми.

Є й практичні експерименти. Один з авторів, надихнувшись дослідженням Річарда ван дер Блома, тестував формат “10 коментарів на день”. 

Так, він чесно показав, що магічних +90% росту фоловерів не сталося ❌

✅ Але сталося інше — і це, на мій погляд, значно важливіше: більше живих розмов, більше вхідних контактів, більше людей, які приходили в DM і в результаті купували.

Тобто коментарі не обовʼязково дають “красиві графіки”. Вони дають людей 🫂

І тут є ще один момент, який часто недооцінюють: коментарі — це набагато нижчий поріг входу, ніж пости. 

У коментарях люди зазвичай не намагаються бути “правильними”, не пишуть корпоративною мовою, не збирають думку по "продаючій формулі". Вони реагують так, як реагували б у реальній розмові. Саме тому там легше побачити мислення, характер і позицію людини, ніж у відполірованому пості.

Тому якщо вам здається, що ви “погано пишете пости”, що ви “не копірайтер” і що LinkedIn — це не ваше, можливо, питання не в постах. Можливо, ваш формат — це саме коментування.

Коментування дозволяє бути видимим, не граючи роль блогера, не вигораючи на регулярності і не намагаючись вигадати, про що ще написати. І дуже часто саме через коментарі люди починають асоціювати вас з певним мисленням, темою і підходом — тобто з тим самим особистим брендом, про який усі говорять, але мало хто розуміє, як він реально формується.

І що вам ближче — писати пости чи залишати коментарі❓

Найшвидший спосіб зростати в LinkedIn — це не пости 

Коли я була маленькою, у бабусі був сусід Толя. Дядя Толя офігенно лагодив проводку ... коли не бухав 😁🍻 Вуаля, в 1 реченні я вам розкрила весь особистий бренд дяді Толі.

Якщо ви зараз думаєте, що у вас немає особистого бренду і що особистий бренд — це щось, що “треба колись почати будувати”, хочу вас здивувати. 

Особистий бренд у вас уже є. Питання тільки в тому, який саме.

Людей завжди описують коротко.

Це той, хто…
Це та, яка…
Це людина, з якою…

І дуже часто це опис не той, який нам подобається, і не той, який нам вигідний. Тому будувати потрібно не особистий бренд. Будувати потрібно ЯКІСНИЙ особистий бренд. А оскільки "якісний" поняття субєктивне, то раджу почати будувати той, який закриває ваші потреби:

Психологічні — щоб вас сприймали серйозно.
Ментальні — щоб ви самі не знецінювали те, що робите.
Фінансові — щоб “я ж розумний” нарешті почало конвертуватися в гроші.

Бо якщо ви цього не робите, бренд все одно формується, просто хаотично, через випадкові фрази, та чужі оцінки.

То ж не будьте, як дядя Толя 😁 

Як би вас описали одним реченням люди, які знають вас у реальному житті?

Контент у LinkedIn починає перетворюватися на контент для дебілів. І я зараз не про людей.

Я про подачу.

Про контент, який максимально спрощують, щоб не змушувати людину думати, а просто дати їй ілюзію, що вона щось зрозуміла 🤩🙌🏻 ➡️ 🤥

Про нескінченні:
▫️«5 слів, які зроблять вас експертом (спойлер: ні)»
▫️«10 формул постів, щоб не думати самостійно»
▫️«3 кроки до успіху на LinkedIn, якщо пропустити головне»
▫️«Як звучати “правильно” і не сказати нічого»

P.S. Це, ясно що, іронічні приклади, але думаю вектор думок ви вловили

І проблема не в тому, що люди хочуть простого. Проблема в тому, що особистий бренд (на LinkedIn зокрема) неможливо спростити до чек-листа.

Я займаюсь веденням особистих брендів у LinkedIn і свідомо не пишу пости про “продаючі заголовки”, “ідеальні хедлайни” чи “формули, які гарантовано зайдуть”.

Бо особистий бренд — це не про інструменти. Це про особистість.

Так, інструменти існують.
Так, вони можуть працювати.
Але вони адаптивні, а не універсальні.

Не можна просто зайти в АІшку сказати: “ChatGPT, я СЕО компанії — напиши мені 10 постів, що привернути увагу моєї ЦА” — і сподіватись на попадання в 🍎

У більшості випадків це буде 💩. Не тільки по лайках чи коментарях. А загалом.

Бо якщо подивитись на іноземних власників бізнесів чи експертів, які реально пишуть самі, а не через ChatGPT, то ви не побачите там жодної формули, яку вам продають «експерти по LinkedIn».

🧮 Вони використовують не формули.
🫵🏻 Вони використовують себе.

❗️І от у чому проблема:
ніхто з “експертів по LinkedIn” на LinkedIn не навчить вас розкривати себе. Не навчить звучати так, як звучите тільки ви.

🥲 І от тут найнеприємніше:
ви ховаєтесь за формулами не тому, що вони такі ефективні, а тому що ви не можете звʼязати три слова про те, чим ви займаєтесь і що вам насправді подобається 🤷🏻‍♀️

І, можливо, я вас засмучу, але особистий бренд не будується в три кроки. Його неможливо автоматизувати. І його точно не напише за вас ChatGPT.

І якщо прибрати всі ці «працюючі формули», ви взагалі знаєте, що саме хочете сказати?
