Led a team of global Customer Success Managers who were responsible for maximizing the utilization of our products within our top-tier strategic accounts.  Our strategy emphasized utilizing a consistent plan across all accounts for efficiency while still customizing the plan for each account for effectiveness.  We created and executed on retention strategy plans for each key account, developing the plans in conjunction with the customer and sales managers.  These plans focused on increasing user logins and enterprise expansion for the products which maximized the value of the product to the customer.

The Customer Success Managers worked directly with customers to maximize the expansion of each product which resulted in improved retention rates.  Additionally, the CSM partnered with sales managers to grow new business through product extensions and professional service opportunities within their assigned territory.

Senior Director, Customer Success Managers - Life Sciences

Managed three key areas for the Life Sciences business unit:  Customer Education and Training, Customer User Analytics & Migrations and Customer Intelligence.   I created strategies and project plans with multiple departments, including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Finance and Customer Service to improve overall customer retention.  As a liaison across multiple departments and with our customers I spearheaded a customer advisory meeting for our key competitive intelligence product.

The teams that I managed developed a robust curriculum of training programs and thought leadership webinars for a global customer base; created internal and external product usage reports for data analysis; and provided customer satisfaction survey results to internal stakeholders and helped to develop strategies based on the customer feedback.

Senior Director, Customer Insights & Strategy

Selected to lead and incorporate our pre-sales product/content specialists with our post-sales customer training team to create a customer centric strategy of key touchpoints throughout the entire sales support lifecycle.  

The pre-sales teams were responsible for providing product demonstrations to prospects and managing a new business pipeline, as well as creating and delivering sales enablement training for new hires and ongoing sales training for new products and enhancements. 

The post-sales customer education team developed a customer-facing product training curriculum and delivered the sessions onsite, via live webinars and recorded video sessions.  Worked with marketing, editorial and product development teams to continuously offer new programs for customers, supporting business retention efforts.  Successfully migrated customers from three core products to a single platform through strategic planning and thoughtful execution, including training plans and migration specific training materials and guides.

Responsible for the leadership of the global customer training team in the US and Europe, including 14 trainers and 1 manager.  Created the first on-demand training program for customers in response to their feedback and market analysis.
