Give someone a task and explicitly tell them to use AI. Then watch how they navigate.
I don’t even care about the final result.
Because the way someone drives AI is one of the fastest ways I’ve ever seen to expose bad engineers.
The wild part is most people think “driving AI” means typing prompts.
It doesn’t.
Driving AI is:
knowing when to stop
knowing when to course correct
knowing when to let it run
knowing when to stop talking and start verifying
