Our first cohort of Makers apprentices has now joined Kraken, the operating system transforming how energy companies serve millions of customers around the world.

At Demo Day they shared their journeys: from diverse backgrounds to the intensive training that prepared them to step into real engineering roles.

Now they’re contributing to the platform helping optimise energy usage, build smarter grids, and support utilities delivering better service.

Kraken was also named one of Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work in 2025, and they’re now looking for the next cohort to join the team.
