Pressure vessel engineer assigned to Nigerian LNG Train 7 project in Milan office. I was responsible for mechanical design, requisition, and vendor management of stainless steel pressure vessels and columns across LNG-T7 units including Acid gas removal, Dehydration, Mercury removal, Liquefaction and Fractionation units. Equipment weights varies from 500t to 10t. Design is based on ASME VIII Div.1&2 as well as Shell DEPs.

Pressure Vessel Engineer

Working on the Shell Shearwater (offshore platform in North Sea) modification project. The project spans over a number of sub-projects (FGL Replumb, Produced water debottlenecking, and Mercury removal unit-MRU). Started with FGL Replumb scope, I looked after requisition documents for a new Duplex SS degasser vessel, two Hydrocyclones, and compressor suction scrubber internals retrofit. Later on, moved on to MRU scope and as Wood’s nominated engineer worked along with Shell engineering team to develop project requirement for mercury removal vessel and gas dust filter designed as per ASME VIII-D2 (218 barg design pressure) using quenched and tempered material to be installed on a module for a heavy lift offshore. The equipment were manufactured in Italy and delivered to North of Scotland before shipment to Shearwater Platform in April 2020. I have received an acknowledgement from Shell project management for the successful delivery of the vessels in such a short schedule.

Principal Static Engineer (contract)- Shell Shearwater Project

The project aim was to re-validate the design of TEG plants (62 MMscfd) for the Basra Gas Company (BGC) in Iraq. The static equipment have been manufactured in 2010 by Italian suppliers to ASME VIII-D1 but never been installed due to Iraq's political unrest. The aim of the project is to re-valuate the design/calculations/certification, install the equipment and commission the plants. I was responsible for the static equipment (TEG contactor tower, drums, filters, surge tanks, reboiler, S/T HX, lean TEG Air-cooler, and skid-based equipment e.g. pumps/blowers/fans, etc.). I performed code calculation using PV-Elite and issued inspection scope for site inspection, then reviewed the reports. Some equipment were U-Stamped but many weren’t which required full engineering assessment. The project managed by Wood Dubai office to whom I provided my service.

Principal Static Engineer (contract)- BGC Project 

The project aim was FEED and feasibility study of a new field (Arran) tie-back to the North Everest platform. As a mechanical engineer I collaborated with process / Instrument / Piping / Structural disciplines to ascertain the size and capacity of the new packages/equipment, ascertain required modification on the existing equipment, as well as prepare budget price for the supply and installation of the new equipment including HP separator (duplex SS), Shell/tube gas cooler, Suction scrubbers, Chemical/Methanol injection packages, Nitrogen generation, and Plate/frame HX seawater cooler. The complete FEED report was successfully delivered t client in February 2018.

Principal Static Engineer (contract)- Chrysaor

Worked on the Hot Oil Furnace upgrade project for St. Fergus plant (operated by PX group) in North of Scotland, and provided engineering services to design, vendor management, FAT, and calculations. The project included the installation of a new exhaust stack and damper, assessment of radiation and convection sections of the furnace, air inlet system, Burner Management System (BMS), main and pilot burners, and revamping existing pipework.

Principal Static Engineer (contract)- PX Group

Costain Upstream Ltd

Worked on the Greater Manchester Waste project, looking after Odour Control System vent stacks replacement, at four sites around greater Manchester. The old stacks had suffered from fatigue cracks at inlet branches due to wind-induced oscillation.  A wind load analysis revealed they should have been fitted with vibration damper (TLD/TMD). The design of damper was performed as per BS EN 1991-1-4 steel chimney code, and new stacks were designed under UK Construction Product Regulations (CPR), however, due to project plan, only Liquid dampers (TLD) were installed on top of the existing stack with the repair at cracked areas.

Principal Vessel Engineer (contract)-Costain

	Provided mechanical package engineering service to CNR North Sea platforms including Ninian Central, Ninian South, Ninian North, Murchison, and Tiffany. Managed compliance with Platform Safety Case and European Directives (PED/ATEX/Machinery directive, etc.)
	Involved in several offshore packages including Crude oil Separator (ASME Sec. VIII), Survival lifeboat package (MED/SOLAS), Seawater surge tank, Cement mixer tank, Seawater coarse/fine filters (PD5500), LPG seal-less pump (API 685), Double diaphragm methanol injection pump (API 675), Oil mist filter separator on turbine exhaust, RO water maker package, Diesel storage tank, Glycol still column (ASME VIII), Diesel driven fire pump (API610). 
	Conducted various fitness for service assessments and developed repair procedures as per API 579, ASME PCC-2 and API 653, in response to offshore inspection reports.
	Assisted Graduate Engineers to ensure their work is compliant with regulatory standards; check and approve outputs across technical drawings, reports, and testing procedures.

Principal Mechanical Package Engineer (contract)- CNR International 

I reported to the Engineering Director as Principal Mechanical Engineer providing subject matter expertise for oils and gas engineering study phase.I managed the design phase of the RO water maker unit for the Nexen Buzzard Platform and managed study phase across heat exchangers, pressure vessels, pumps and air vaporisers for the St. Fergus Gas Plant and Nitrogen Injection Plant.

	Acted as Lloyds Register Authorised Body for certification and approval of many pressure vessels, heat exchangers, valves/actuators, and offshore packages in accordance with national and international codes/standards, UK offshore regulations, and Lloyds’ Register rules.
	Reviewed and approved many manufacturers dossier comprising drawings, calculations, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), material specifications, and Performance Requirements (PR).
	Assisted in  3rd party verification of static equipment in the Shell Floating LNG (FLNG) project during FEED stage.

	Senior & Lead Mechanical Engineer for onshore oil and gas projects including Siri NGL Plant, South Pars Gas Refinery Plant (phase 9/10), HDPE plant & Gas Compressor Stations (IGAT).
