#1: Turn on Amazon Ads asap.

The ideal timing is once your 5 - 10 VINE reviews hit.

Your listing won’t get much traffic at first, so ads help people find you.

Amazon Ads is the most powerful lever to drive traffic to your listing.

The faster you can get traffic, the faster you get sales, the faster you get more reviews, the faster you get more sales.

Launch in 90 days or spend the next 900 days launching.

#2: Use automatic campaigns.

The Amazon Ads automatic campaigns are easy to launch and will be the foundation for your advertising flywheel.

Amazon will help find the right keywords for you if your listing is clear and complete.

You can then use these auto campaigns for keyword discovery.

The keywords that convert well, you can keep in your auto campaign and/or roll them into manual campaigns. Spend more on the keywords that work and optimize your placements and bidding.

Which leads me to number 3, sure to be divisive.

#3: Use dynamic bidding up and down. 

People get scared of this because Amazon Ads can raise your bids.

“Let Amazon raise my bids?!”

“Josh, you're crazy.”

“Yes, I am.”

After looking at thousands of campaigns, I can say that DBUD outperforms Down Only and Fixed Bidding.

This 2 year old feature is seasoned and knows how to land sales.

It’s just like the top of search. 

You will pay more per click, but you convert more frequently at a lower ACOS!

Which leads me to number 4.

#4: Use Top of Search bid adjustments.

In fact, make campaigns just for Top of Search.

Caveat: don’t do this until you’ve got a solid review base and high rating relative to competitors.

And only prioritize your most relevant and least competitive keywords.

Over hundreds of audits and thousands of campaigns, I’ve seen TOS campaigns deliver the best ACOS over and over.

And for my last tip, I’m going to throw out a super unknown, high ROI campaign.

#5: Run B2B adjustments.

These are incredible right now.

No one is bidding these placements up.

And the average order value is almost 2x.

Do the math.

Same bid, 2x the sales = incredibly low ACOS.

Frankly, B2B campaigns are so good I hesitated to share.
