On A Mission To Help Jobseekers By Networking.

I’m interested in Junior Social Media or Community Management roles. 

Since April 2022, this LinkedIn page has grown from 0 to 18.5k followers organically, in a little under four years. 

I’ve achieved this by creating networking and mostly support-focused content aimed at helping other jobseekers.

Through this work, I’ve built an engaged and active community by posting consistently and actively engaging in comments and discussions.

I plan and write LinkedIn posts with a strong focus on audience interests, clarity, and approachability, adapting content based on what resonates most with the community.

I’ve also helped keep this space safe by taking appropriate action when needed, including reminding the community to stay alert to scams and maintaining respectful, supportive discussions.

I also have a few years experience of moderating for a few other social media accounts/pages.

I’ve also had a dream for the past 17 years to start my own online creative business and I am taking steps towards this, but as I have been unemployed for 5+ years I am searching for a WFH paid job I can do alongside.

I wouldn’t usually keep asking BUT: 

This job market has defeated me. 

It’s been a long 5+ years with no job or income since I was made redundant from my full time position as a Retail Assistant in a kitchen shop in August 2020. 

I’ve tried so hard to find work and have applied to 2k+ jobs since. 

I’ve had about 2-3 handfuls of interviews in that time, a ton of rejections and more applications have been completely ignored than ever. 

This experience has made me feel lost and overwhelmed, frustrated and upset. 

I have a dream to start my own online creative business and I AM taking steps towards that, however, I know overnight success is unlikely and therefore, I believe I still need to find work alongside starting. 

I never expected to be unemployed for so long and I’m extremely worried about everything. 

I’ve kept applying to paid jobs even when I’ve felt like giving up. 

I’ve put in the effort. 
I’ve done the interviews. 

And I’ve nothing to show for it… 

So here I am, letting you know that I’m still very much open to work. 

I’m open to WFH positions in social media, community management or admin support for creative start-ups.

Big Dreams Of Starting My Own Business | Looking For WFH Paid Job | Helping Jobseekers Build Community Online | Coffee Enthusiast

I work at the intersection of leadership, systems, and human capacity.

Over 20+ years, I’ve led programs and operations across education, workforce development, government, and the military, often in environments where the mission matters, constraints are real, and execution has consequences. In that time, I’ve worked directly with roughly 5,000 students and adult learners across K–12, higher education, and workforce development systems.

What I’ve learned is simple and uncomfortable:
Most breakdowns aren’t caused by a lack of talent, effort, or intention. They happen when systems are unclear, accountability is diffuse, and people are asked to carry what the structure should hold.

I’m usually brought in to work where ownership is muddy, decisions don’t flow cleanly, and outcomes erode at handoffs. My role is to slow the right things down and make the invisible explicit. I help leaders clarify responsibility, align stakeholders with different incentives, and build operating rhythms that teams can actually sustain without burning out or hardening.

I’ve managed multimillion-dollar portfolios, led compliance-heavy programs, and built delivery, reporting, and monitoring systems that support executive oversight, audit readiness, and continuous improvement. Across sectors, the pattern holds: when expectations are explicit, decisions sit at the right level, and accountability is clear, outcomes improve and the human cost drops.

Alongside my program and operations work, I write and speak about clarity, ownership, regulation, and sustainable leadership. I’m the author of one book on leadership and am currently completing a second focused on belonging, capacity, and identity inside organizations. My writing isn’t about motivation or performance. It’s about helping leaders regulate, choose cleanly, and lead without abandoning themselves in the process.

I do my best work in environments that value steadiness over urgency, judgment over theater, and execution that honors the people doing the work.
