I spent 4 years at Spendesk, implementing the Marketing strategy for France, almost single-handedly. Despite a hyper-growth environment with daily challenges, I made it the number 1 market in terms of revenue. How? By being both creative and highly structured, allowing me to quickly identify opportunities and risks. A keen attention to detail that today makes all the difference for my business and that of my clients.


At every stage of a company's growth, I love analyzing the reasons for success but also for failures, and above all, finding solutions to problems. In my past startup life, I've made and seen all the mistakes you can imagine. We had to find solutions to avoid wasting too much time and money.

Alongside the CTO, I'm working on background topics like Security / Performances / Architecture / Deployments. I participate as well to deliver features. Key Metrics / Achievements: - enable the mono-tenancy ability for specific customers - enhance performances (on some parts of the API) to more than 1000 req/s (hand-made written Performance Testing Framework (from request to webhooks reception using Cloudflare / Grafana and InfluxDB) - enhance deployments processes with Github Deployments on Qovery

Founding Product Engineer

Part of the Payment Instrument squad, I am currently working on integrating our own bank inside our software (generating virtual cards with limits, handling card transactions). This is a critical project for the company.

We are leveraging event outbox pattern and command bus to design our use cases.

As a senior, I’ve worked on global engineering topics:
- Part of the quality crew to provide nice tooling and guiding 100 engineers to build good quality software
- Part of the testing crew to ease the test ability of our product
- Part of the scalability crew, providing tools and architecture patterns to decouple and scale our softwares, led the contract testing initiative.
- Part of performances initiative ( / 100 time of some endpoints)

Kuido is a non-profit initiative built by a collective of tech workers whose mission is to help patients of chronic disease & their caregivers better live with their disease.

Kuido builds chatbots where people can find all the information they need about their disease. All this information is curated by human experts to ensure it's reliable. 

We start with vitiligo - an auto-immune disease impacting millions of people in the world which depigments the color of your skin. 

Our vision extends beyond vitiligo. We aim at addressing all diseases where the information online is un-reliable and where having a medical appointment with an expert takes months and even years. 

Together we believe we can have an impact on the lives of many through technology & design.

After having been part of a fast growing company, I wanted to try something new, help Novactive to grow using processes and way of doing from startup to ease the development and understanding of customers needs.

Projects:
- French Cultural Ministry: Acting as Lead developer, I've managed a team of 3 developers to ship an API used for all maps displayed by the ministry. We had to handle multiple sources and provide a way to do crowd sourcing of cultural places. The API is used by wemap and open-agenda our partners for this project. The project is deployed on platform.sh and tested by Travis. API Platform has been chosen for  this project.

- Lambert and Associates: Acting as Lead developer, I've led a team of 5 people (1 intern, 2 back-end developer and 1 front-end developer) in order to answer to the customer needs. The project was to build a kind of private social network connecting brands and retailers. The project has been built from scratch using Symfony 5 along with PHP 7.4 and React JS for the front-end in a kind of SPA way. The project has used CQS along with Hexagonal architecture. Deployment is done on Platform.sh and Github Action is used for our Continuous integration platform.

- Melijoe.com: Acting as Sofware engineer I've helped to enforce quality and tests on this project (one of the biggest of the company). The goal of the project was to take into account all the new needs of the customer to rebuild their project from scratch using PHP 7.4 + Symfony and React 

- Atlantic: I've help the team to do a migration between 2 majors version of eZ Platform.

After a successful apprenticeship within Akeneo teams and being graduated at Master’s degree level in Software Engineering, I’m now a full time engineer at Akeneo.

What I've done:
- Decoupling of the monolith using Domain Driven Design Strategic concepts such as Context Mapping, Bounded Contexts and so on.
- Implements Domain Driven Design tactical patterns on some bounded context to tackle the technical debt, be closer to domain concepts in our stack.
- Monitor performances and improve algorithm to query the data faster -> it has involved to separate reading and writing concern (kinda CQRS but only on the query part for now). Intensive usage of Blackfire.

R&D Software Engineer

Akeneo is a startup with a mission: makes the customer experience better by enhancing products description.

The software is a solution with a big added value focused on collaboration and user experience that makes our customers more efficient and happy to provide good products description, less boring and more powerful than a simple excel spreadsheet.

I had the pleasure to work on several topics in the software:
- Performance analysis and identify bottleneck
- Work on architecture and features
- Make the customer happy by providing a very good support experience
- Practice agile methodologies
- Day to day self questioning
- Help the ops side to have an effective way to deploy our environments

To build that we use:
Modern PHP with Symfony 3, React/Backbone in front side, MySQL 5, ElasticSearch, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, GCP, Domain Driven Design.
