📈 Goldman is putting up numbers we have not seen in more than two decades. Thirty four percent of global deal volume in a single year. More than one hundred million dollars in advisory fees. Record share across the largest transactions in the world.

But here is the real question the industry is debating.

Is this a healthy rebound in corporate confidence, or a period of consolidation that only the largest institutions can access?

On one hand, stabilizing rates, pent up private equity capital, and boardroom pressure for growth are finally pushing big deals off the sidelines. That flow naturally favors a global advisory house with deep relationships. 🏦

On the other hand, if the market relies on a small group of banks to set the pace, the mid market and emerging growth segments may not feel the lift until much later in the cycle. 📉
