A new baby girl.

Named a Titan 100 CEO in Philadelphia.
And another big one:

If you’ve noticed I’ve been quieter on LinkedIn lately, it wasn’t because I lost interest.

Most home care owners try to scale the business the wrong way.

They think the path is:

More caregivers.
More leads.
More clients.
More everything.

But when you look at the agencies that actually grow through acquisitions…
Or the ones that get attention from buyers…

They’re not focused on getting bigger.
They’re focused on getting cleaner.

Here’s the reality no one tells you:

Buyers don’t chase the largest agencies.
They chase the agencies with the least operational risk.

And operational risk doesn’t show up in revenue.
It shows up in the backend.

These are the agencies that consistently get the highest multiples:

• The org chart runs without the owner
• EBITDA is clear and predictable
• Books are clean (no mystery categories)
• Margins aren’t swinging wildly
• Processes are documented
• Onboarding is repeatable
• Lead flow is systematized
• Staffing isn’t a weekly crisis

In other words:

Not the biggest agencies.
The tightest agencies.

Here’s the mindset shift:

If your business falls apart when you step away…
It’s not scalable.
And if it’s not scalable…
It’s not sellable.

Most owners think they need more clients.
What they actually need is to stop being the glue holding everything together.

When you start building like someone might buy you one day, your entire business improves—whether you sell or not.

Less chaos.
