Back in 2020, I thought I was doing everything right...

I had a finance degree from a top 20 business school, married, had a house, worked at a bank, and was investing in a 401K.

Working at the bank, I analyzed commercial multifamily deals. 

I saw everything -
• The borrower's tax returns where they paid $0 in taxes. 
• Huge net worth on their balance sheets. 
• The passive income they were collecting every month from the cash flow. 

I saw just how lucrative (and rewarding) apartment investing could be.

I quickly learned I was on the WRONG side of the deal. 

So I founded Goodin Development.

After entering the Turkish governments nationwide international university scholarship program, and placing 1st place, I found myself in the great state of Texas, furthering my studies in the field of Geophysics. After getting my Masters and PhD, along with teaching an odd number of years at Texas A&M University, I found myself utilizing a part-time real estate opportunity by assuming a loan for the duplex I was currently living in that happened to be going under foreclosure in the middle of an economic depression. Reaping the fruits of such a financial move, I found myself phasing out of research & education and focusing my attention into full time real estate investments. What started in 1992 with a couple duplexes has now morphed into my state-wide 10,000+ unit empire. Perfecting my management skills in a niche market of improving distressed neighborhoods, I have grown as fast as my capital can keep up. I am interested meeting financial titans to aid my pursuit of expanding my portfolio and ultimately becoming a nationwide Real Estate investor.
