While operating MyLuxx I was recruited by a world-class diamond supplier to lead its “supplier of choice” initiative for the Gembel European Sales Group (a sightholder of the Diamond Trading Company (DTC) De Beers Group). 

► In this role I spearheaded international marketing and communication services, crafted business and marketing strategies, and planned advertising and brand development initiatives for Gembel and its major clients in London, Europe and the Middle East.

► I also created communication programs for B2B and B2C markets, developed sales and distribution channels, and promoted global trade shows/exhibitions to major retailers and wholesales.

Other activities included:

► Played pivotal role in attracting top clients and generating return on sales.

► Forged profitable relationships with Georgie Visconti, Sterling Jewelers, Blue Nile, and Couture Magazine and HNW private clients.

Drake International

I was transferred / recruited to Drake UK from Toronto to pioneer Career Development initiatives/internal recruitment and support all sales. 

In this capacity I was integrally involved in the internal recruitment process including candidate screening, initial interviews, reference checks, and making recommendations to managers for suitable applicants. 

In addition, I served as liaison to line managers, helped troubleshoot staff and performance issues, and supported all sales related activities. I developed and executed all the National Training Program for all UK and reported directly to the Head of Training.

Other activities included:

► Designed and implemented company-wide performance appraisal and ensured “buy-in” from all line managers. 

► Designed National Training program and executed this.

► Created Drake’s HR policy & procedures manual and training & development manuals.

► Updated all operations regarding changes in employment law and good practice guidelines.

► Established a series of employment law workshops and recruitment sales workshops.

In addition, I conducted client training seminars using Drake P3 Behavioral personality assessments and external tools.
