This workflow books 15+ meetings/week from LinkedIn.

Not by “going viral”. By treating likes / comments / profile views like what they are:

Hand-raises.

Here’s the system (set it once → it runs forever):

1) Capture engagement
Profile views, likes, comments get pulled automatically.

2) Send to Clay
Enrich the person + company (role, size, stack, signals).

3) Qualify + segment

Does this match our ICP patterns?
Is this a Tier 1 account?
If not, it still gets routed - just differently.

4) Dedup in CRM
Already in HubSpot/CRM = don’t spam them.
New = keep going.

5) Waterfall email
Multiple providers until we get a verified address.

6) Route by intent

Hot → Slack alert → SDR hits them with a fast manual DM
Warm → automated email workflow

I reviewed a client’s $20k/month ABM program this week.

They couldn't answer one basic question (and tbh most teams can't either).

Why is this account on your TAL?

And if you can’t answer that… LinkedIn will happily charge you to find out.

On the call, we pulled up their target list.

It was a giant database export.
No tiers. No buying committee mapping. No disqualifiers.
Just “accounts” → uploaded → spend.

That’s not ABM. That’s paid guessing.

Here’s the operator version of what actually fixes it:

1) ICP = best-customer patterns → lookalikes → leverage

Start with the customers that already convert fast and expand.

Pull the pattern: trigger, constraints, why you win, what proof you have.

Build lookalikes from that pattern.


2) TAL is a RevOps asset (CRM object), not a spreadsheet

TAL lives in HubSpot/CRM with: owner, tier, stage, next action.

Reviewed weekly and updated weekly so you can see account progression.

Weekly, you should be able to answer:

→ % of TAL reached
→ % engaged
→ % pipeline attached
→ what moved accounts (signal → action)
→ what changed in the TAL (adds/removes and why)

3) LinkedIn ABM is judged on progression metrics:

If you judge LinkedIn Ads on demos, you’ll kill ABM early.

RevOps tracks what moves accounts forward:

→ audience penetration (% of TAL reached)
→ engagement rate / CTR by angle
→ % of TAL accounts reached by ads
→ account progression (% TAL → pipeline)
→ pipeline per $ spent

4) RevOps routing is the compounding layer

Engagement → Triggers → CRM → Clay → Audience update → Outbound Trigger

So signals don’t sit in dashboards.

They update tiers, move audiences, and create outbound tasks tied to intent.

ABM that works is boring on purpose:

clean ICP → controlled TAL → progression tracking → routing.

"Posting on LinkedIn" didn’t take ColdIQ to $7M ARR.

This engine did.

When I joined ColdIQ as Growth Lead we were just below $2M ARR.

Outbound was working.
But ads weren’t a real motion yet.
And content didn't have a system behind it.

I tried to scale the 3 motions, but it flopped.

Until I stopped treating them like 3 separate “channels”…

…and built one GTM engine where each touch makes the next touch cheaper.

What actually changed for us

1) We defined the ICP + tiering first

Not “more leads.”
A clear list of who we want, and how aggressive we are by tier.

2) We standardized messaging

One narrative across content, ads, and outbound.
Same brain. Different format.

3) We made each channel do its real job

→ Content = trust + signal (who’s leaning in, what angles hit)

→ Ads = controlled repetition (amplify what’s already resonating, stay present, target your ICP)

→ Outbound = conversion (prioritize based on signals, not volume)

4) We added RevOps orchestration so everything talks to each other

This is the glue.

All intent signals + enrichment + workflows flow through one system:
CRM ↔ Clay ↔ outbound tools ↔ ad audiences ↔ attribution.

We used AI + GTM tech to automate the boring parts so we could move faster:

capture signals → enrich + score → route + sequence → retarget → track what actually creates pipeline

That creates a compounding loop.

That’s how we 2x our revenue, with LinkedIn as our main pipeline channel.

The uncomfortable lesson for me was this:

It can look like you're “winning on LinkedIn”…

and still be losing in pipeline.

The AI job debate is backwards. It’s not “AI will take jobs.”

It’s: teams are being rebuilt around AI workflows.

You can see it in hiring signals:

AI-skilled workers are earning a big wage premium, and “AI-native roles” are showing up in job posts fast.

What happens next isn’t “no work”.

It’s new operator roles across every department.
