We just validated something most B2B marketers overlook about CTV.
Analyzed 54 days of LinkedIn CTV campaign data against website traffic.
The correlation? 0.69 (p < 0.001)
But here's what actually matters:
Organic Search correlation: 0.81
Direct traffic correlation: 0.65
CTV isn't driving clicks. It's driving search behavior.
People see your ad on LinkedIn CTV → they Google your brand → they visit your site.
We're seeing ~352 sessions per 1,000 CTV impressions, with the strongest lift happening in branded search traffic.
This is exactly how brand awareness should work. But most marketers measure it like performance media and wonder why "it doesn't work."
The data shows:
→ Same-day impact + 7-day sustained lift
→ Primary conversion path: CTV → Organic Search → Site
→ Implied cost per session: $0.08
If you're running CTV and only looking at click-through rates, you're measuring the wrong thing.
Look at your branded search volume. That's where the signal is.

I just stumbled across a subreddit for people secretly working multiple remote jobs: /r/overemployed

If you’re struggling to understand the screenshot.

OE = overemployed (ie. working multiple jobs at once)

J = job (ie. J1 means your primary job, J2 means secondary job, etc.)

This person had four remote jobs going at once. He got fired from two in the same week for underperformance (ya think???).

They focus on remote tech jobs. The people doing it seem to be mostly based in the US.

Am I the only one who didn’t know this was a thing?!

I’ve spent years testing different ways to get people to stop scrolling and look at ads.

Here are five quick and easy ideas I use all the time. 

Marketers often think that what stops the scroll is tasteful design or witty wordplay.

And these things can definitely help.

But the best way to stop the scroll is to break rules, not follow them.

It’s to do things that people didn’t expect. To interrupt the familiar pattern of scrolling through the feed.

5 Ways to Stop the Scroll

EVERYBODY who came to our booth at #DMWF last week wanted to talk about the same two things:

“How can I get my people to post more?”
“What’s the best way to use thought leader ads?”

Marketers are definitely waking up to the fact that the best way to cut through on LinkedIn right now is your people.

Personal accounts should be your key distribution channel for 2026.

We’ve been saying this to our clients all year. But this is the first time I’ve heard it so much from the wider market.

My personal opinion is that LinkedIn has changed for good.

Brand accounts don’t cut through like they used to. And it’s probably going to stay that way.

If you feel like you’re falling behind on this trend, here’s the simplest way to catch up:

👉 Scout internally for people who are willing to be the face of the brand on LinkedIn (if you don’t have any, you may need to hire)

👉 Create a simple content strategy focused on 3x per week posting targeting category entry points

👉 Boost the best posts in Campaign Manager using thought leader ads

👉 Retarget people who engage with those ads from your brand account 

Personal accounts are the best way to win in 2026. And if you're not using them, you're at a massive disadvantage.

Definitely seeing more B2C brands running ads on LinkedIn.

I imagine LinkedIn will be folded into their existing media contract.

Which means these campaigns are probably being managed by a massive B2C agency that has no idea how LinkedIn’s Campaign Manager works.

Which means that LAN will almost certainly be on, and most of their ad spend is getting wasted. 

Sad times. 😭 😭 😭
