- Led a team of 5 growth-focused managers: 3x Performance Marketers/ASO experts, 1x Global Marketing Lead and a Full Stack Web Dev, portrayed as part of a squad (User Acquisition-focused)
- Spearhead (such an overused term eh?) growth using Paid/ASO/SEO/CRO channels and frameworks in a systemised, efficient and sustainable output globally (EMEA, NA, Asia, MENA)

Performance/Digital Marketing Lead

- Develop and execute a comprehensive user acquisition strategy across various channels like paid advertising, social media, email, PR and partnerships, while continuously exploring and testing new channels to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and sustained average LTV (14 days)
- Manage and optimise marketing campaigns to meet key performance indicators (app install > register > paying user > 2nd deposit > 2nd payment), increase conversion rates; monitor the creation and maintenance of dashboards for web/app analysis
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing and cross-functional teams (Founders, Non-execs, Devs and Customer Support) to ensure consistent branding and growth,
- Conducting market research for insights, staying updated on industry trends (competitors and app marketing), and managing relationships with key partners and agencies to scale UA efforts

User Acquisition and Growth Manager

Opportunity: Joined as an Interim paid media manager for Inploi (B2B SaaS) - focusing on increasing the supply-side conversions of the business’s proposition (providing talent). 

Deliverables:

- Google Ads and Facebook Ads campaign management to promote available roles (job seekers) for their key brand accounts (Wagamama, Butlin’s)
- Campaign planning, activation, optimisation and reporting of brand accounts focused on efficient CACs (£10 where possible), including liaising with the account manager and product lead on key initiatives 

Outcomes:

- Continuous fulfilment of company talent pools, meeting the brand’s need for niche talent
- Provide insight into best practices for B2C customer acquisition across paid media, which provided retainer work for Inpoi and great performance for their key accounts

Paid Media Consultant

Science in Sport Group

Opportunity: I was approached to help support the transition of SiS’ paid media activities from an agency to in-house, as well as increase their ROAS across Search and Social while supporting the various marketing campaigns required for both brands (Science in Sport and PhD)

Deliverables:

- Transitioning paid media channels from an external agency to in-house and systemising how to support brand management teams in improving product awareness and revenue for newer product lines
- In collaboration with their data science teams, find different sources of truth for our paid media activities' true ROI (Fospha, PowerBI, UA) - to further optimise our performance and reduce overheads/CACs at an omnichannel level

Outcomes:

- Provide brand management team better visibility on product performance and audience consensus (engagement, comments, purchases)
- Streamlined the process of campaign planning to activation and reporting, including the improvement of our ROAS through strategic budget re-allocations across UK/ES/IT/DE markets
- Reduce CACs conservatively across both brands (£15-£25 per conversion) and ROAS improvement

Senior Performance Marketer

Media Minds Global Ltd

Opportunity: Brought in to be an interim paid media specialist helping their key client accounts (mostly in the education sector), plan, activate and report on performance.

Deliverables:

- Campaign planning, activation, reporting and optimisation across biddable channels (Heriot-Watt University, Durham University, ESMT Berlin and more)

Outcomes:

- Systemised and sped up the activation of campaigns across paid media channels, in support of their Digital Ops Manager and Digital Director

Paid Media Specialist

Hogarth Worldwide

Opportunity: As I ended my contract with M&C Saatchi in June of 2022, I was still a part of Total Media more on a consultancy basis (advisory), as they were waiting for the start and onboarding of a FT employee for my replacement. 

I was then presented with another great opportunity to work with Hogarth in June 2022, managing the Meta Gaming account. The overlap between Hogarth and Total Media might seem alarming, but in the world of contracting, happens more often than not.  

I took on the contract to expose myself to the world of B2B marketing and to work on another big brand, knowing that my time management and multi-tasking ability would come in handy during this busy period of my career.

Deliverables:

- Liaise with various regional stakeholders (EMEA, NA, APAC) with the end goal of planning and activating campaigns (product awareness, event and webinar promos, and content distribution) through digital channels (Web, Paid, SEO, Organic and Email)
- Support the Digital Director and Campaign Exec in streamlining digital processes, especially on campaign reporting and activation, as well as provide ideas/solutions to automate data acquisition and improve digital performance (Paid Social, Paid Search and Programmatic Display)

Outcomes:

- Increased product engagement and online webinar attendance upon various campaign activations
- Built an omnichannel data visualization for stakeholders which they massively appreciated and found value in
- Improve and streamline digital marketing processes alongside the Digital Director from media planning to activation and reporting

Digital Campaign Manager (Meta)

Total Media

Opportunity: While I was freelancing, I was then presented with a great contract opportunity to work with a well-known advertising company (Total Media), to help onboard their new client, BMW and MINI (UK and Ireland). 

BMW’s paid activity was previously managed by Wavemaker and now needed to be transitioned over to us. They needed someone with omnichannel and agency experience across Paid Social and Search. I managed to win the pitch as a contractor.

Deliverables (not extensive):

- The management of both BMW and MINI’s biddable activities from planning, to activation, to optimisation and reporting (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and SA360)
- Liaise with various teams (Creative, Data, Tagging, Stakeholders, Paid, SEO & Web) to fully maximise performance on all biddable channels, as well as inform them of actionable insights I gather 
- Led & managed various teams across the UK, Germany and Poland - including streamlining processes, management of 7-figure budgets, improving communication & support training junior team-members

Outcomes:

- The full transition of BMW/MINI’s Facebook and Google activity, with support from the wider teams and stakeholders
- Upskilled in leadership and the management of 6 execs across 3 countries, including systemising the project management aspect and collaboration between design, content/social media and paid teams
- While CPLs for our various conversions were increasing, we managed to stabilise them at our proposed targets, when I first joined
- I led the planning and activation of BMW’s first Performance Max campaign, albeit it took months to activate due to stakeholder concerns

Performance Marketing Specialist (BMW, Mini)

Opportunity: I joined as a freelancer to support and manage a health-tech client's Paid Search activity, and was part of a community of digital marketing experts providing various services (focused on growth marketing for start/scale-ups). Including media planning, activation, reporting and optimisation across Google Ads (Search, Discovery and Display).

Deliverables:

- Management of their client’s Google Ads campaigns to increase revenue and stabilise ROAS. Including: campaign audit, keyword research and expansion, updating of bid strategies and reporting

Outcomes:

- Stabilised their ROAS by increasing the campaign’s tROAS and optimisation of their campaign keyword selection and budget allocations
