A common misconception about Data Architects is that they need to be the most technical person in the room.

Technical breadth matters, but communication skills I think matters more.

Great data architects gets to understand the business,
 understand the Ontology, and create clarity through standards and guardrails.

That’s how alignment happens. And that’s how data strategies succeed.
