We've been working on AI search optimisation for AeroChat for a while now — something I've documented in my AI Overview Playbook — and we've been seeing very encouraging, accelerating progress over the last two months.

It's not that you can one-shot prompt something into existence.

The true unlock is that every iteration costs almost nothing.

Think about what that actually means.

Old world: You have an idea. You spec it out. You hire a dev or agency. You wait weeks. You get something back that's 70% of what you wanted. You go through rounds of revisions. Each round costs time, money, and momentum.

New world: You prompt. You look at the result. You don't like it. You adjust. Three minutes later, you're looking at version two. Ten minutes later, version five.

The best vibe coders aren't the best prompters. They're the people with the clearest vision of what they actually want.

That's always been the real entrepreneurial edge. The tools just finally caught up.

A few months ago, I had a problem.

AeroChat — my bootstrapped AI chatbot startup — was competing against established players in my space that have had quite a runway ahead of us already. 

Brands with bigger teams, much more funding, and better exposure from years of market presence. As classic a David vs Goliath situation as it comes. And we needed our slingshot.

We couldn't out-run or out-spend them. So we had to out-think them.

We asked a different question: what if we didn't need to outrank them — we just needed to appear alongside them?

That's when we went all-in on Google AI Overviews.

In under 3 weeks:
→ AeroChat appeared in AI Overviews alongside the big boys
→ Impressions grew 250%
→ Clicks increased 219%
→ Organic daily signups increased 3X

We then ran the same process for Stridec Worldwide — our own SEO agency — and for a handful of other businesses.

Same methodology. Same results.

This wasn't a one-off. It's a repeatable process.
