The MSP channel speaks its own language. I’ve spent years learning its dialect, not from the outside, but from deep inside the ecosystem where SaaS founders either earn trust or get ignored.

I’ve watched exceptional products stall in the MSP space for one reason. Not because they didn’t work, but because they weren’t understood. MSPs don’t buy vision decks or clever positioning. They buy solutions to real operational problems, clearly articulated, in language that respects their reality.

Today, I operate at the intersection of systems and story.

I serve as Chief of Staff at Cyft, where we’re building Sam, an AI teammate that remembers service calls so technicians don’t have to. Documentation just happens. She remembers what humans shouldn’t have to carry. My role focuses on building the operational backbone that allows that promise to scale with integrity. Structure, decision clarity, and the quiet infrastructure that makes products usable in the real world.

Alongside that work, I’m a co-founder of CMND Media, where I help MSP-focused SaaS founders translate their expertise into messaging that actually moves sales conversations forward. No jargon. No buzzwords. Just clear narratives built for a channel that values practicality over hype.

I specialize in three things that matter most to MSP-aligned startups:

The over-preparation one landed a little close to home 😄

Accompanied by my year in review picture. Although for reference, I'm a rum-sour person, not just XO, and only when I'm on holiday - doesn't taste the same in freezing cold Oxfordshire!!

Here in The IT Nation all of what we do is about creating the conditions for great things to happen and being the catalyst for our members to do amazing things. Thoughtful preparation. Intentional conversations. And space for people to connect, build community, challenge one another, and grow.

And now… we are straight into 2026 at full speed 🚀

📍 30 days from now we will be live in Glasgow for The IT Nation Evolve Q1 MSP Owner and Leader Peer Group Meetings. A new year, leadership planning quarter, financial benchmarking to see the impact of hitting our goals, and a strong start to 2026 with the community.

📍 63 days from now we are back in London for the one and only IT Nation Connect Europe 2026 on March 9 - 11. Early bird tickets are available until 12 February, and if last year taught us anything, it’s that community-fuelled energy sells out fast.

No slow starts and no easing in here in The IT Nation, they are concepts that are simply not in our playbook. We are flying out of the blocks, and I cannot wait to see so many familiar faces and new ones alike over the weeks ahead.

This morning, Lee shared this, which, as with all Lee's lessons, really resonated with me:

"At Disney, we had a saying: “We don’t say no until we’ve looked under every rock.” Most service failures happen because someone stops at no instead of moving to let me see what I can do.

One afternoon, a manager called me about an employee who needed Fridays off to attend therapy sessions for her child with a learning disability.
Policy said no.
I asked, “Have you asked the team?”
He hadn’t.
Within an hour, another Cast Member volunteered to swap shifts.
Problem solved—policy intact, humanity preserved.

Trying doesn’t always succeed, but it always earns respect. People remember leaders who care enough to look for an answer."

I think we can all think of times where we could have looked under a few more rocks, either in our personal, or professional lives. We can't always do what others as of us, but as leaders we owe it to those we serve to try - 10% of the way there is better than the start line.
