Today, I operate at the intersection of systems and story.

I serve as Chief of Staff at Cyft, where we’re building Sam, an AI teammate that remembers service calls so technicians don’t have to. Documentation just happens. She remembers what humans shouldn’t have to carry. My role focuses on building the operational backbone that allows that promise to scale with integrity. Structure, decision clarity, and the quiet infrastructure that makes products usable in the real world.

Alongside that work, I’m a co-founder of CMND Media, where I help MSP-focused SaaS founders translate their expertise into messaging that actually moves sales conversations forward. No jargon. No buzzwords. Just clear narratives built for a channel that values practicality over hype.

Robert Cioffi, CTO & Co-Founder, pursued an entrepreneurial calling in 1993 to establish Progressive Computing with co-owner and college buddy, Ugo Chiulli. In his career at Progressive Computing, Robert has worked diligently to build the non-negotiable core values on which his company stands: Humble Confidence, Teamwork, Commitment and Respect.

Robert is widely known to be an expert public speaker on a variety of technology topics fueled by his passion for and experience in business and IT. His pragmatic, decisive and creative personality is evident in the dozens of business magazine articles published by or about him in the last 2 decades including Westchester Commerce and 914Inc. Robert has served as an official partner advisor to several technology companies such as Microsoft and Axcient, and is actively engaged in the IT Nation Evolve Peer Group as Facilitator for 2 different groups. Robert has been a featured guest on dozens of various podcasts, is often asked to be a panelist for vendors at trade show events, and has presented keynotes and led other presentations for community events in the USA and Italy. 

At heart, Robert is a “Go Giver” and a teacher. He was a CCD Instructor for 16 years, Lector and Council Leader in his local church, a former Board Member of the Greenburgh Public Library Foundation, former Chairperson for the Yonkers Thrives Initiative, and the current Chairperson of the CompTIA Emergency Response Team.

Robert grew up in the 70's and 80's and owes much of his creative nature and problem-solving skills to the thousands of hours playing Dungeons & Dragons. Years later, while listening to a GE Executive speak about career paths, Robert asked what one piece of advice he would give a young professional. The answer would resonate well. He said, "Be a Dragon Slayer"... and thus so, Robert was knighted.
