Activity included media relations, marketing and social media management in addition to creating PR plans with strategic direction for clients and developing new business proposals. 

My work for Walking Wounded was acknowledged by the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) at the 2016 Queensland State awards, announced the winner of the Pro Bono category for saving our men and women soldiers from suicide. This is a campaign I both managed and executed, securing coverage in Huffington Post, news.com.au, ABC News24 and much more. The campaign raised awareness, funds and volunteer and veteran registrations.

As Account Director at PPR Queensland, I am responsible for ensuring clients' communications objectives are met utilising strategic and well-planned tactics across a range of disciplines.

In addition to maintaining strong relationships with clients and media, and achieving measurable outcomes for clients in the construction, not for profit, outside school hours care, government and hospitality industries, I am also responsible for delegating work to the team and driving business development. 

I have driven successful communications activity for McDonald's Queensland and Northern Territory, Construction Skills Queensland, Baskin-Robbins, Crime Stoppers Queensland, The Executive Group, Propell National Valuers and more. 

In mid 2014, I undertook a two day creative thinking facilitation course that has enabled me to produce effective results for clients with the PPR team through various brainstorming techniques.

As Account Manager, my public relations responsibilities include client meetings and strategy development, copywriting, media relations, stakeholder engagement, internal communications, media monitoring, B2B communications, event planning and reporting. 

In my role at PPR I engaged with stakeholders particularly in corporate, business, not for profit, finance, government, property and construction industries. I helped manage the Crime Stoppers Queensland's' anti-illegal firearm campaign in early 2013 which was recognised by the Public Relations Institute of Australia with a commended award.

On a daily basis I managed the reporting of stocktake and financials, managed staff, liaised with suppliers, maintenance, cleaners, upper management and remained hands on with cinema operations including serving concessions and cleaning and checking cinemas.

I also undertook marketing activities to promote films, events and the cinema to key audiences including implementing targeted seniors and school campaigns. 

I developed the roster for 70 staff members each week and during my tenure the cinema received an award for best average hourly rate.
