My current role involves providing clinic management support to our three Auckland sites - Mairangi Bay, Ellerslie and Manukau. I am responsible for clinical and operational management of our clinical sites in the region. My role also continues to involve training and mentoring staff, both in Auckland and other TBI Health clinics in the North Island. I work closely with our Vocational and Community Managers within Auckland, as well as at a Service Management level for our region.

At TBI Health we provide a comprehensive range of musculoskeletal injury management & rehabilitation services. With our Back Institute programme I deliver specialist expertise in back and neck pain management ranging from acute through to chronic conditions. As a senior physiotherapist and manager I am involved in regularly training and mentoring new staff to the Auckland region.

During my time in Palmerston North I was involved with Manawatu Jets Basketball and Young Heart Manawatu Football as a team physiotherapist.

•	Assessment and treatment of acute/chronic musculoskeletal conditions and post-surgical orthopaedics
•	Treatments include acupuncture, manual therapy, electrotherapy, exercise prescription and education.
•	Independent caseload management including documentation with accident compensation, private insurance companies, specialists, GP's and other health professionals.

•	Areas covered included Neurosurgery, Geriatrics, Rehabilitation, Cardiothoracic/Transplant/Coronary Care Unit, and Intensive Care Unit.
2)	Musculoskeletal Outpatients/Emergency Department
•	Assessment and treatment of acute/chronic musculoskeletal conditions and post-surgical orthopaedics in outpatient department.
•	Assisted with running of Outpatient Exercise Class and HIV Exercise Class.
•	First contact assessment and treatment of patients presenting to ED with musculoskeletal conditions.
•	POP casting of upper and lower limb fractures.
•	Assessment of mobility for discharge.

Rotational Physiotherapist

Manly Hospital, Northern Sydney Central Coast Health Service

1)	Emergency Dept/Emergency Medical Unit/Aged Care Emergency Services Team (ASET)
•	POP and fibreglass casting of upper and lower limb fractures
•	Assessment and treatment of acute musculoskeletal injuries prior to discharge
•	Assessment of elderly patients to determine suitability for discharge/admission/ onward referral
•	Co-ordination with multidisciplinary team for further assessment of patients 
2)	Acute Stroke Unit/General Medical Ward
•	Early assessment and management of patient post CVA and TIA
•	Onward referral of Stroke patients to rehabilitation/community services
•	Acute respiratory and general mobility assessment and treatment of medical patients
•	Co-ordination with multidisciplinary team for discharge planning.

Nutrition, sleep, exercise and social connection are foundational for everyone, no matter where you are on the health spectrum.  None of it is rocket science. The simple things work.
