Using my strategic, creative and analytical expertise I support the growth and brand awareness of Crescendo Trust and Crescendo Studio. 

Reporting to the Marketing & Fundraising manager, my role covers digital strategy recommendations and execution. I manage all digital marketing platforms including GA4, Mailchimp, GTM, Looker Studio and much more. We experienced a 14.75% increase in visibility in the first quarter after my start. Over my time I grew Facebook engagement  by 84.92%,  Instagram by 5.3% and overall post interactions by 730.31% over all social media channels. Website users grew 167.5%  and user engagment grew 119.7% over 2023 YoY. Traffic from email grew 146.9% YoY.  Marketing automations for students achieved 78% open rate and 4.8% CTOR.

Under my guidance, the external developers created a modern eCommerce and lead generation service website. I am responsible for preparing copy, images and strategy for the new WordPress / WooCommerce website contributing towards a 128 fold increase in online sales compared to the prior year. Management and implementation of in-house marketing and website optimisation is also my domain. Using analytics, strategy, and a user-centric approach, I have driven online conversions by optimising content and the e-commerce experience by writing product copy, image editing, and analytics. My SEO, WordPress, WooCommerce, Mailchimp and technical skills, have contributed to increased enquiries beyond the business' expectations. Using my content creation, graphics and email marketing skills, I have increased customer engagement through Mailchimp email marketing, social media and google my business. For example, email click-through rate and reach have grown approximately 17% this year. I am an advocate of inbound marketing and that is a key part of my approach. All this has been achieved in 3 days per week.

Drawing upon my experience and research I advise of the appropriate product for the application at the appropriate price and answer technical and logistics queries. I work closely with several product managers to provide marketing and product support assistance in line with their strategies and financial targets (GP and budgets).

I started a summer studentship then a fixed term role as technician with HortResearch (now Plant and Food Research). I was then promoted to Research Associate where I gained further skills under the guidance of my supervisor. Some of my key achievements include: Assistance with development of overgo technology, non-radioactive library screening methods, automated DNA extraction and snapshot fingerprinting at HortResearch. Contribution to preparation of draft papers for the overgo and the sex-locus project. Updating and presentation of overall project poster including BAC library, overgo and sex locus sub-projects to the Christchurch Mapping Workshop July, 2005.
