Today, I’m announcing my next chapter at Trace.Space and my departure from martech.

Looking back, this nearly 10-year trajectory feels surreal. Throughout, I became a student of the game, obsessing over every discipline required for a top-performing marketing team and closing millions of dollars of revenue selling solutions to solve their problems.

But it’s time for a new challenge. I’m joining Trace.Space to dive into a world of even greater complexity. We are solving mission-critical problems for the world’s most brilliant systems engineers. The people building the hardware and infrastructure of the future.

This move is fueled by deep curiosity and, honestly, the caliber of the team. Getting to team up with Mik Krams again after our Chili Piper days and working alongside Janis Vavere, who I’ve had the chance to get to know over this past year, felt right.

What ultimately sealed it was Karlis Broders. The product he’s built, paired with his clarity around where this category is going, made it impossible not to say yes.

Between the three of them, they pulled my attention toward something I didn’t realize would inspire me this much.

They didn’t just look at what I’ve done, they bet on what I can do. I’m humbled by the opportunity and genuinely excited to take on the challenge ahead.

Locked the F in at Trace.Space

It’s wild what can happen in two weeks.

We ran two parallel offsites
Engineering in Riga 🇱🇻
GTM in Atlanta 🇺🇸

Despite the time zones, it felt like one continuous conversation. Features were getting shipped in real time off the back of active customer calls. Feedback loop → build → refine → repeat.

That kind of momentum is addictive.

On the GTM side, one of my favorite things to do when I join a startup is design the demo.

I always ask:
What are the five things we have to show to wow someone on the first call?
And what’s the story that ties it all together?

We tore it apart. Rebuilt it. Got intentional about every click, every transition, every value moment.

Of everything we delivered that week, that structured first-call narrative is what I’m most proud of.

And honestly? We had a lot of fun doing it. Maybe too much fun.

When you zoom out, building a startup is basically the most intense group project of your life and doing it with people you genuinely like and feel like you've known for years is the bonus.

Contrary to popular belief, you can actually stand up a modern, pipeline driving webinar program from scratch and make it worthwhile.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard, “We just want to test it out on Zoom.”

That’s fine.

But if you start with Sequel.io day one, you are not just hosting a webinar. You are building infrastructure.
