Thlompanang is a schools based volunteer program aiming at redressing the problem of gender-based violence in South Africa. We focus educating school children on sexual violence and how to deal with it effectively but our focus is on building positive values, empathy and going back to traditional values like Ubuntu.

When I got back from Mexico - I promise this will be the last post to start this way - many people asked me "where to next?", not believing that the life of the wandering lawyer was over. But I assured them that its settle down season. I was coming back to Cape town, buying an apartment, not leaving the country for "at least a year" and focussing on the SA and UK/EU market.

So how is it that I am at the back of a taxi in New Delhi weaving through traffic, dodging the ubiquitous cows, and sucking in its sooty air? Well, opportunity came knocking (more about that in a less informal, correct-people-and-pages-tagged all-protocol-observed post to follow). For now I am amused at how sometimes people know you better than you know yourself.
