H2 Cyber Security Services came into being over a coffee in a hotel in Stamford, when myself and my business partner were discussing the fast changing cyber security landscape. 

While the enterprise market took measures, small and medium sized businesses were, we felt, badly served by the cyber security industry and often left unknowingly exposed to the fast-evolving dangers of cyber attacks and data breaches and their accompanying financial and reputational implications. 

After leaving the military I took up a 30-year IT career, after all I had to feed my family.  During that time I’ve been called in to work on projects for the Passport Office, FCO, MOD and fortune 500 companies, amongst many others. 

In setting up H2 we took the decision to focus on the midmarket, providing them with the same level of service given to the enterprise market, ensuring that they are equipped to handle and stay protected from the increasing changes in working practices following COVID and the 'new normal', and the fast-developing threat landscape in the cyber world.

I’m proud to say we have helped over 50 businesses achieve the following:

As an experienced Business Development Manager I also help coach, mentor and recruit new sales professionals into the business.

-Researching prospective clients in target market, pursuing leads and following through to agreement.
-Identifying the most profitable opportunities, pitching products and maintaining good quality relationships.

As a Consultant Account Manager I was responsible for managing a portfolio of energy consultants both within the UK and Overseas. I act as an intermediary to promote npower services and solutions to third parties to ensure the needs are met of small to large business energy users. I have managed over 100 energy brokers and been successful in over achieving targets on a consistent basis. As a senior member of the team I also ensure the delivery of team targets and aid in the development of all internal and external stakeholders.

-Lead point of contact for all matters specific to my customers/consultants
-Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
-Ensure timely and delivery of our solutions with key accounts and customer stakeholders

I managed customers through technical aspects of their contract from simple administrative queries through to legal requirements. This role required organisation, timely and accurate data processing to meet tight deadlines. Stakeholder management was key to managing and completing task through to completion.
