I've worked 6+ years in Investment Banking & Wealth Management, advising multi-millionaires on M&A transactions and how to invest their money in the capital markets. 

Meeting incredibly fascinating individuals and peek behind doors that remain closed to most. 

Two things all these people had in common: 

→ First, they were entrepreneurs 
→ Second, they set goals that seemed unattainable at first glance

Which leads to the question: 

How did I end up there?

I wasn't born into this world, nor did I have wealthy parents or an impressive network. I grew up in modest circumstances in a working-class family in Vienna, raised without a father in a social housing project.

What would you do if you were given the opportunity to completely reinvent your life?

That was the burning question in my mind when I dropped out of school to become a chimney sweep for a living. I was clueless about my next move, but I knew one thing for sure: I craved more. 

More success, more wealth, more freedom.
 
I embarked on a wild adventure that plunged me into the infamous world of investment banking. But that wasn't the end of the story—it was just the beginning.

I even wrote a book about it, sharing the rollercoaster ride of my journey and the key principles that helped me break into Wall Street without any industry experience or a target university degree.

As an associate of the Bosch group in the chassis control system division for many years of which 8 spent working in Germany, I had the opportunity to work on Brake System development projects for various OEMs such as the Mercedes-Benz group, VW group, Fiat Group, French OEMs, Landrover, Tesla and other US West Coast EV startups such as Lucid, Faraday future and many more. Out of these 15 years of experience within the chassis brake control system division, I have worked for 5 years on Tesla projects in engineering brake systems such as Electronic Stability Control and (ESP) and Electronic Power Boost (iBooster) for many vehicle programs. During this time, I have acquired sufficient experience in system and software engineering for embedded system for electric vehicles. Furthermore, one of my key responsibilities in my current role among others is to ensure engineering and development of brake system according to Automotive SPICE standards. I have also gathered experiences in system/software engineering management throughout my years of experience at Bosch. I also led a team of associates in prepping and participating to an Automotive SPICE assessment in at . I would like to continue this journey and expand my horizons in taking advantage of new career opportunities in this area that are being offered out there.

System architect and Senior Software Engineer for embedded systems

My key area of expertise resides in system and software engineering of embedded systems such as chassis brake systems (Electronic Stability Control (ESP), Electronic Power Boost (iBooster), Decoupled Power Brake (DPB) and Integrated Power Brake (IPB)). In my current role I am responsible in my department for brake system requirement engineering, design and architecture for customer projects surrounded by a team of motivated embedded SW engineers who rely on my expertise. My years of experience in chassis brake systems allow me to easily fit into any other embedded control system e.g., Powertrain, Suspension, Battery management, Vehicle motion...etc. The trend of more autonomy in car driving which is on the rise fascinates me equally. I also have knowledge of system and software development according to automotive SPICE standards. I have successfully led the development and integration of various chassis brake functions for above mentioned systems for series production with great teams around me for many OEMs. I am passionate about all areas of vehicle motion/stability control in the automotive industry as well as leading customer teams in many different regions throughout embedded system/software development until release to series production. My goal is to transition into an engineering manager role or system development product lead for embedded systems. I also successfully led an ASPICE project with a group of people located in Mexico, Germany, India and NA. I am confident that with my many years of experience I have acquired the required skillset to assume any of these roles.
