I developed a new candidate acquisition process, utilising marketing techniques to convert passive candidates to active and mitigate the risks of candidate shortages. Creating enhanced materials to promote new opportunities and leverage employer brand. Introduced email sequencing, developed compelling copy and created a process to ensure fast responses to inbound replies. 

Filtering and matching candidates on behalf of clients; across both marketing and creative roles. Ensuring candidates relevant and transferable skills are promoted clearly and in an engaging way for clients. 

Supporting candidates and clients through the process, ensure I understood drivers and secured the needs of both parties to the best of my ability. 

Responsible for creating useful, engaging content for both clients and candidates. Publishing to the website and all social media channels as well as hosting webinars and seminars. Doubled open rates on our email campaigns. Introducing dynamic new templates and significantly improving our data. 

I led a key business growth project to cleanse and grow client data in the blueskies CRM. The results of this being the deletion of over 15k dead records and the upload of 5k. A further project to improve the candidate data resulted in 26% re-engagement, 36% deletions, 151 updated CV and £8,000 fee's.   

Working directly with the owner of the business and the leadership team I created the 2020-2025 five year vision and strategy. Currently delivering a roadmap for 2020 designed to change our business significantly to enable growth. 

Launched a brand new thought leadership piece ‘the view’. Designed to share the perspectives of candidates with clients, I managed the research, production and the business development that followed.

I Implemented a new annual marketing planning process. This was highly successful, it was adopted quickly and raised awareness and trust in the business resulting in greater success for marketing activity as well as saving money and resources.  

I introduced campaigns to promote research reports written by internal experts. As a result downloads more than doubled, increasing leads into the pipeline. Brand messaging in PR and communications was easier to control which resulted in improved awareness.  

I introduced multi-channel promotional campaigns to increase visitors to events, growing numbers by up to 30%. I enhanced the quality of results from these events by ensuring the right customer groups were targeted to maximise the relevance of the event to them, and which improved feedback scores and enhanced business results.   

I inaugurated the use of personas and research to better understand the target market and improve client experience. I used these insights within business cases to bring changes such as location, timing and materials to improve accessibility.  

I built and led a team to support the creation of a purpose-built CRM and lead a business behaviour change programme. My team were involved from the beginning and handled the liaison between the consultants and the IT delivery team, ensuring that the perspectives and requirements were captured and actioned. We also designed and delivered the engagement strategy and the launch. The project took six months and resulted in fast adoption across the business.  

I led a team to develop and deliver a plan to protect the contact database from the introduction of GDPR. Co-ordinating the business to clean data, working with IT to build ‘opt in’ to the online database, running an engagement campaign to engage 1000 employees. And running an external campaign to grow ‘opt ins’ and inform contacts of the changes.

As a business partner to the Health and Safety team I led the creation and project managed an award-winning internal communications safety campaign ‘thinkSAFE!’. Designed to reduce accidents and near misses by education of common mistakes. The campaign tools were embedded into the business processes and became part of everyday plant life.   
 
Working as a business partner with the Asia Pacific Leadership team, I developed and deployed a campaign designed to share people stories to draw parallels in an incredibly diverse region. As a result of ‘Pride Inside Asia’ the employees felt heard, engaged and part of the global GKN Team.
