Getting ready to work the booth takes me back to a decade of life in a 10x10, 30 weeks a year. Different cities. Different products. Different years. Different version of me.

What hasn’t changed is the question every booth has to answer fast.

Why now?
Why should someone buy what you’re selling from you?
How do I buy?
Do my competitors buy this too? 
How do you help me sell, then help me sell more?

What a week.

Every meaningful conversation circled back to the same truth. This is a moment that calls for realism, not hype. Fewer expectations. More honesty.

Timelines are shifting. Pivots are necessary. Capital needs to work harder and closer to the cash register. Planning for multiple outcomes is no longer optional.

And still. Growth is happening.

It looks like going deeper in existing markets. Strengthening the relationships already in motion. Choosing sustainability over speed. Thinking about survival and success as something we do together, not alone.

The most impactful moments came from sitting in that reality with others. Sharing what is working, what is not, and what the second half of the year may realistically require.

That is community.
That is leadership.
That is how this industry moves forward.
