After a stint in cyber security, and founding and selling a peer-to-peer ringtone-selling app, Mike founded a digital agency which he eventually sold to the largest Mid-Atlantic independent ad agency. There, Mike grew its digital offering fivefold in months, earning him a promotion to agency president. As a sub-30-year-old president, Mike spearheaded an impressive agency transformation, orchestrating an acquisition, securing new business wins, and launching several new and sustainable capabilities adding EBITDA in the first year. 

Mike's entrepreneurial drive then led him to found GrowthLab, a boutique consultancy aimed at helping agencies with their business development and M&A strategies. Setting itself apart, GrowthLab not just helps agencies pitch and win coveted brand pitches but demystifies the complexities of the public sector RFP process. In 2022, Mike secured more than $1.5B in new business revenue for GrowthLab’s clients, which include IPG, Omnicom, and Dentsu. Notably, Mike consulted for McCann New York rebuilding the new business team, doubling the new business win rate, initiating a string of national and global new business wins and leading the pursuit to keep the highly-competitive $362M New York Lottery advertising contract. Drawing from his personal experiences of agency mergers and acquisitions, Mike has guided numerous independent, mid-size agency owners through their agency sales over the past 12 months. 
 
With a stronghold in the public sector market and a remarkable string of North American and global brand wins, Mike has developed the trust and relationships with holding companies and independent agencies alike as well serve as frequently invited speaker to the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4As).
