Most strategies fails quietly. Not because the model was wrong. Not because the data was flawed. But because it was imposed, not owned.

One of the biggest shifts in my MBA core was realizing that strategy is not something you do to an organization. It is something you build with it.
Analytical rigor matters. Of course it does.

But without shared meaning, strategy becomes compliance. And compliance never creates momentum.

The leaders who get this right integrate disciplined thinking with human insight. They create clarity that people can align behind, not just instructions to follow.

I also manage the Material and Equipment Logistics teams across two Yards to ensure the operational readiness and management of critical inventory required by different Contracts. The Technical Support Manager is to ensure that physical inventory levels are monitored and replenished as needed, ensuring Personnel Planning and Crew movement is the most efficient, effective, and economical use of resources. I also lead the Business Improvement team thru Initiatives by reviewing, designing and implementing improved processes, operational policies and cost reduction strategies. Also Manage the Business Development and Project Support activities with a Planning & Tender Co-Ordinator, Project Coordinator and Document Controller. Played a key role in the readiness of the Sg Bera Yard for executing the Total EPC Contract.

Hired by ERM as a Principle Consultant to lead and grow the Brunei operations on a range of projects spanning from Environmental Baseline Surveys, Environmental Impact Assessments, EHS & Management & Compliance Services and Sustainability and Climate Change related work. Projects conducted by the team are for a mix of local and multinational clients, and always in collaboration with ERM colleagues from around APAC or specialist global teams of experts. To support the successful delivery of ERM proposals and projects, Adhering to all ERM and client requirements, specifically those related to H&S and governance. Identifying opportunities and follow-on sales opportunities in respect of designated projects. Was tasked to develop new opportunities - Decommissioning, Brunei LNG Enviromental Baseline Survey Update, Stack Emissions, Petronas - Legal Register Updates. Enviromental Impact Assessments for Power and Utilities new project sites.

I was Consulting in a Technical Director role for a local Marine Services and EPC- Epic international -where within 12 months I was accountable to secure tenders and delivered key projects with critical timelines- Technically, Safety and Operations wise. Appointed as director to their Sister company to help develop their Portfolio of offerings within the Oil and Gas industry. 
Helped secure a long term -3 year plus 1 year contract within first six months. Awarded in April 2019 with Petronas- For a Provision of Project Management team for supply of highly specialized Drilling positions such as Rig Superintendent, Snr Deepwater Drilling Engineer and DSV’s, Geoscientist, Reservoir Engineers, Material Coordinator and also non –technical Executive Positions. I was accountable for the Recruitment and Screening of high-profile candidates and veto process prior to client approvals The PMT Project team was the core team for Petronas’s drilling operations for their Deepwater well in 2019 and successfully managed to fastrack a plan to drilling operations within 4 months.
In August 2019 secured the Total Block CA1- Polarcus Brunei Deepwater Seismic Acquisitions operations support and full agency both Local and Marine representing Polarcus in Brunei. Secure License to operate (LTO) for a fleet of 4 vessels- 1 seismic vessel and 1 Seismic supporting vessel and two fast supply chase vessels. All permit, agency services included Port Calls requirements, liaising with the Marine and Port Department and other key government agencies.
The local Services included Vessel permits, Visa’s and Work permits.
Accountable of meeting a very short timeline to secure all the License To Operate in Brunei from Marine Authority including inspections, secure work permits and also the planning for berthing, crew changes and all supply requirements.
Also, I actively worked with interested International Companies for opportunities to tie in local business thru joint tender participation.

Responsible for all revenue, contracts management, commercial and sales related to managing the business in Brunei independently with support from the business support, contracts, legal, tax and finance teams in Kuala Lumpur. Maintain a high HSE requirements, ethics and standards as per Schlumberger.
Handling all commercial aspects of the role where I am responsible for all tender response, contract management throughout the contract duration with client contract holders, client supply chain and contracts departments. This includes all the contract negotiations for both technical and commercial aspects, input to contract scope for commercial- pricing input, terms and conditions, raising if any exemptions required, and agreeing to terms. Work together with clients on any new variation to contracts. In any new contract and tenders help to build up the Project Profit and Loss (Commercial calculations). Engage Technical teams on building the personnel resource requirements. Responsible for the risk management matrix and input to the project risk logs.  Revenue related, ensure timely billing and invoicing of all accounts managed as per all Purchase and service orders as per the agreed Terms and conditions of the contract. Responsible for the DSO – Day Sales Outstanding for the accounts receivables to ensure healthy cash flow. 
Currently handling Account Managing for Brunei Clients, which include Petroleum Brunei, Petronas Carigali Brunei, Brunei Shell Petroleum and Total Brunei.
Strong Understanding Exploration and Production lifecycles for technical and Commercial tools – Sales business systems for sales opportunities, Sales\Quotation management and invoicing tools, Customer Relation Management tool and Commercial/Financial tools for Schlumberger Bid Management processes.

In my role of the G & G Systems Specialist/Systems Engineer I am- Part of the Schlumberger Information Solutions Team based in Brunei. Reporting to the BMP- SPM Manager who is based in Kuala Lumpur.
-Working with the client base which includes National Oil Company of Brunei- Petroleum Brunei, Major Players such as Petronas Carigali Brunei Limited, TotalE&P Borneo BV and extending to the Energy Department Prime Minister's Office Brunei Darussalam.
-First line support for Petrel for Brunei Clients which include Petroleum Brunei, Petronas and Total remotely and onsite when needed.
-Also providing support for other Schlumberger Softwares such as Studio, GeoX, OFM 
-Also assist in providing installation requests from Clients for Schlumberger softwares outside of G&G such as Studio, OFM, Eclipse .
-Being the man on the ground in Bandar Seri Begawan mean that I expose myself to also areas like Sales and Tech Sales,Bussiness Development, Account management, lots of self learnings modules and being a Focal Point between Brunei Client and Kuala Lumpur BMP HQ.

G & G Systems Specialist/Systems Engineer

Experienced in being a technical staff supporting the supporting the Exploration Regional Studies, Prospect Evaluation ,Portfolio and Planning teams for Databases & Applications. 

Responsible for the overall IT hardware, software management for subsurface applications together with Subsurface applications support teams, Collaborations Technology, Records Focal Point and IT requests requirements for the Exploration team in addition to my main responsibilities as the Office Design Planning Coordinator for the Exploration Team in line with Shell Group standards for Exploration Technical Workers 

Deputy HSE Focal Point responsible for all HSSE, HSSE training & ISO14001 focal point for Exploration BSP. 

Exploration Well Operations Geology Support with the HPHT and Deepwater Exploration drilling operations.Spent time doing Wellsite Geology onboard a Jack Up Rig drilling HPHT Exploration Well and a drillship drilling a Deepwater Well. Work with Petrophysicist on Geological/Subsurface Evaluation programme with inputs to Mudlogging programme, Flair. Overseen and planned a deepwater coring operations including wellsite supervison of coring runs, core preservation by freezing and transportation pocedures. Daily reporting of drilling operations including project costs to key stakeholders within Shell and Goverment regulators.

Was part of the Regional Geology team as Experienced Field Guide for conducting and organising Geological Fieldtrips for Exploration ,Subsurface Development teams. Responsible for organising and conducting Geological Fieldtrips in Brunei, Labuan and Kota Kinabalu for different range of depositional enviroments and analogues from Deltaic to Shallow Marine Deepwater systems. As a Field Guide also given honor to organise the AAPG Brunei  2013 GTW Deepwater Fieldtrip.

Had expanded my role and developed myself by doing Risk Management for onshore seismic acquisition project as part of the Venture/Project Startup Support Team for Exploration Projects.

I previously and recently lead the Technical Support Division of Brunei's Serikandi Group, managing Logistics, Planning and Control Tower of Personnel Movement, Scheduling, Materials, Business Improvement and Base Operations across 4 locations.

As a Sales Manager with Bollore Logistics, I went from an Oil and Gas perspective to a full overview of Global Logistics operations. This included both Sales and Business Development of Freight Forwarding, Custom Clearance, Transport management to Supply Base Management and Warehousing Operations for key client accounts- Shell, Total, Petronas Baker Hughes, Cameron and Haliburton.
With Schlumberger I had accountability as a both Segment Lead and Account Manager of the Digital, Software, Realtime-Data, Consulting Segment in Brunei and reporting to the Region Sales and Marketing Manager in Kuala Lumpur.
