Responsible for the overall operations and financial success of the highest volume store in the district. Accountable for hiring and training a full time management staff as well as 50 sales associates during peak times of the year. Managed the building through a full remodel in 2015. Facilitated the promotions of two internal store managers. Regularly train leaders new to the company. Maintain partnerships with leaders at the corporate office as well as local vendors. When I retired at 62 in the beginning of 2019  I realized that I still have too much passion, too much drive and too much love for the retail industry! I love my clients, I love my co-workers, I love problem-solving those floor sets that we are working on and sending pictures to our brand managers!  What I have realized even more in this COVID 19 environment, is that sometimes we have to slow down and process what we value.
