There are two ways to become an "IIT/IIM Alumnus" today.

1. Crack the toughest exam in the world (1% acceptance rate).
2. Swipe your Credit Card (100% acceptance rate).

I’m seeing a flood of AI courses in marketing and project management, even from top institutes (including IIMs and IITs). 

They are partnering up with top influencers for promotions. 

To be brutally honest, they are rarely worth the investment.

[1] The content is often average (Got to know from personal network). 

But no one admits it because admitting the course was bad means admitting they wasted ₹3 Lakhs (+ they can’t publicise their IIM/IIT tag anymore) 

[2] Say what you want, but top companies never hire based on one certification, no matter if it was done from IIM or IIT. 

You either need to be a regular student or must have tremendous skills. 

[3] The sales team promises alumni status and placement support

Instead, what you actually get is access to a portal where all the alumni and potential job openings are listed. 

Do you think other alumni will respect you and help you the same way they will help people who have cleared JEE or CAT?
Never!

That’s the harsh truth that no one talks about. 

If you want to play a status game and tell the world that you have done a course from IIM/IIT, go for it. 

But actual people will know if it was earned or bought.
