I work with leaders to help them identify blind spots, improve their craft, and steer their organization towards a continuous improvement and full engagement with my researched-based coaching program. I also help organizations improve their culture, strategically plan, and design intentional professional development that moves the needle.

I have served as a Director of Learning and Development for a large organization designing and implementing coaching and training programs that empower employess and move the needle on company metrics. 

As a Superintendent, I have worked to collaboratively establish district vision, facilitated continuous improvement and focus of district work, developed governance policies and procedures that maximize the success of all students, created instructional systems designed for high student achievement, managed and organized the district’s resources (human, fiscal, operational and material) to accomplish district goals, and successfully helped to pass a bond issue for a new K12 facility.

Implemented eLearning compliance training company-wide to 14,600 people. Responsible for designing and developing content to be delivered to multiple levels of the organization.  Organizes, plans, executes, and monitors training sessions for all key employees. Responsible for ensuring the education and preparation of Associates, District Managers, and the Support Center.  Guide and instruct all our training staff to create consistency of content in training sessions.  Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Human Resource departments to design, develop, and produce eLearning module training content. Worked with over 192 community volunteers to pass an 8.4 mill bond issue.

Quick Win: Using AI for Lesson Design

Educators are now using AI to design engaging lessons in minutes, not hours. What used to take us months to design, we can now do in a matter of minutes and spend our time where it counts! Engaged with our students!

This past year I presented to a group of 90+ teachers and we had a race to see who could unpack a standard, identify prior knowledge, create "I Can" statements, develop scaffolds & supports with formative assessments, a student-friendly rubric with the fastest completion time. 

The result? A standards unpacking showdown in just under 5 minutes. Here's is how

Start with a simple prompt: “Pretend you are an accomplished Ohio 6th grade reading teacher. Identify the main ideas, skills, and concepts within the standard: RI.6.2 Analyze informational text development. a. Determine a central idea of a text and how it is conveyed through particular details. b. Provide an objective summary of the text that includes the central idea and relevant details. 

Once you see the result, you will be amazed. This is just the start! 

Tweak your prompt to match your standards, tone, and class needs.

Sometimes, learning AI starts with curiosity and a little fun.

This week, I asked Copilot AI to turn a photo of my dogs into creative cartoon version and the results were adorable.

It reminded me of something we talk about often:
AI doesn’t just change how we work, it changes how we wonder.

Exploring AI creatively builds the same confidence educators and leaders need to apply it meaningfully in classrooms, schools, and organizations.

If we can use AI to create art from a simple photo, imagine what’s possible when we apply it to lesson design, leadership strategy, or data storytelling.

Across Ohio, students are using Educator AgriNetwork curriculum to analyze real-world ag business challenges like this SWOT Analysis Lab from the FutureProof AgReady unit.

Under the guidance of AgriNetwork educators Dr. Stephanie Jolliff and Ms. Lori Romie, students collaborated to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in a contamination scenario. Their redesigns reflected authentic industry practices: SOP audits, safety improvements, and sustainability planning.

What makes this moment powerful isn’t just the posters or presentations; it’s what’s happening behind them:
💡 Teachers aligning workforce-ready instruction to state standards
🌾 Students applying critical thinking and communication skills
🤝 Classrooms connecting directly to the needs of local industry

This is what The Educator AgriNetwork was designed to do. We are bridging the gap between education, workforce, and innovation.
