Morne-Rouge City Hall

The commune of Morne-Rouge is the wettest and freshest of Martinique, it is located on a plateau between Mount Pelee and the Pitons du Carbet. It is in this one that I decided to carry out my training course in order to validate my diploma of "Manager in 
maintenance and computer support".

The Cultural and Multimedia Space was the place of my mission. This last one is located in the premises of the Media library of the commune of Morne-Rouge.

In the region of North Martinique, the computer infrastructure of the public services are administered by territorial collectivity. Here it is the company CAP Nord Martinique, which deploys, secures and intervenes in the case of a possible failure on the communal network.

Within the Media Library, there is no IT department, nor within the Town Hall itself, but there are IT managers/referents everywhere.
This community promotes the :

 • Renew and modernize the rural identity of the North of Martinique
 • Improving accessibility in terms of travel and breaking the digital divide
 • Reconciling the protection and enhancement of the environment, economic development and social 
progress
 • Linking the economic development centers to training and employment.

Entreprendre Pour Apprendre / JA France

Entreprendre pour Apprendre is a federation of associations present all over France whose aim is to help young people to reveal their potential thanks to an entrepreneurial and collective educational project. Our Mini-Entreprise® program is aimed at 9 to 25 year olds in schools, in general, technological or professional education, but also at young people in professional integration. Our method allows young people to be the actors of their project, while being guided by a mentor (teacher, educator, integration counselor) and mentor (entrepreneur, intrapreneur, company employee). Through the projects they implement, young people discover the professional world, their economic environment and develop their spirit of initiative; they gain self-confidence, develop a more active orientation and dare to become the actors of their future. 

3 Mini-Enterprise® courses 

Mini-Enterprise® S - for 9-12 year olds / 13-25 year olds (one day or half day): Respond collectively to a challenge, develop a concept and present it orally with the support of professionals. 

Mini-Enterprise® M - for 9-12 year olds / 13-25 year olds (from 15 to 35 hours depending on age): Observe your environment and collectively imagine solutions to improve it, transform an idea into a project and discover the company. 

Mini-Enterprise® L - for 13-25 year olds (6 to 10 months, i.e. a minimum of 60 hours spread over the year): Transform an idea into a marketable product, discover one's potential by taking on responsibilities, meet mentors from the professional world, exchange with young people who are going through the same adventure.

As a young person, I quickly understood that IT and its issues would be at the center of everything.

This field allowing me to fully exploit my intellectual abilities, having an appetite for entrepreneurship, I made the choice to try the experience of the Social and Solidarity Economy, at Entreprendre pour Apprendre. (IDF) 📊

This experience rich in rebound, made me feel the need to reconcile these two areas. 

I then asked myself, "How can I do that? 🧐

My research inevitably brought to the forefront the fact that it was quite possible to bring these two fields together, through Business Intelligence.

That's where it all started.

Business Intelligence (BI) is a technological process of data analysis and information presentation.

This one (BI)* allows to guide executives, managers and other end-users of companies to make informed business decisions.

Mixing my main interests, I immediately knew that this sector was made for me.

I then made the wish to become a "DataScientist". 👨🏾🔬🧬
